American Shorthair Dry Cat Food is a breed-specific diet for Shorthair cat pure breeds. The right balance of fiber, fats, and proteins helps with weight control. Highly digestible proteins and prebiotics promote healthy digestion. Amino acids, vitamins, and omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids support skin and coat health. And the crescent-shaped kibble encourages chewing and supports good oral health.

We have 1 1/2yr old Ragdoll female. At a steady 8.6 pounds/small frame. Area in front of back legs seems a little skinny. A couple of internet sites seems to suggest IAMS Proactive Health, Healthy Kittens is ok for adults to gain weight in view of it's extra protein and fat. Is that ok for 8.6 lb female.
Hi. I have 2, two-year-old male cats. Maine coon 17 lb ---American Shorthair 16lb. I am told the coon is still growing, but my AS is fully grown. He is beginning to look slightly fat. I feed IAMs chicken dry and Blue Wilderness wet. I am concerned because my AS has gained almost as much as the coon. I was feeding 1/2 can of wet a day = 1 can for each cat. I have cut back to 2/3 of a can a day + dry. They do not seem hungry. But should I reduce my AS food and is my coon getting enough. Thank you
Which dry food is best for an indoor, seven year old cat, low in calories?
What food is good for cats who are five years old ?
Our 1 1/2 year old female ragdoll feline started loosing patches of fur for last 2 weeks. No scabs/raw spots on skin. Vetinarian concludes not fleas or ringworm. No known environmental changes or new house products. Now starting Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein Adult HP for 2-3 weeks in case it's food allergies. It's $50 for 7.7 lbs. Is there a less expensive equivalent Purina or other brand?? Thanks from Florida.

I have an 8 month old 10 lb BIG maile kitten. He is very long and has bit paws. I assume he is still growing. How much should I be feeding him: 3 wet 3 oz cans and a little dry food - more or less? I can feel his spine but not his ribs. His wet food is 10% protein, usually chicken or chicken & liver. All is no grain. I keep reading different things.
My cat has been losing weight for the last year, going from 11lbs to 8lbs. I will have her checked out soon, but want to change her dry food diet first. What is the best dry food that will help her gain weight?
