I buy the Roudybush Daily Crumble and mix it in with seeds for my cockatiels. It’s an excellent food source for them, and helps me make sure they have a more balanced diet.

I feed all 3 of my cockateils, 1 gala cockatoo and 1 african grey varying sizes of Roudybush pellets. More nutritionally sound than a seed diet. They are very healthy, with great feathers. Highly recommend.

Excellent brand and food. I have 3 cockatiels who love this food, and I buy the "crumbles" version because there seems to be less waste with it. These pellets are complete balanced nutrition and highly recommended by my avian veterinarian.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Would crumbles or mini be better for a lovebird?

  1. I use crumbles on a conure and a canary wing bee bee parrot (brotogeris) a very small parrot comparable in size to a lovebird (see photos online) I believe roudybush makes recommendations on their website. My experience has been great with these 2.

Would roudy bush senior be good for my 35+ adopted moluccan cockatoo

  1. Yes! See my review.

What size is best for a Cockatiel?

  1. Small

Quakers eating crumble's nutrition question

  1. All pellets should be supplemented with some veggies, sprouts, 1 nut daily (no peanuts) a tiny bit of citrus free fruit 3 times weekly. Nothing from a can or products containing sugar substitutes. Sugar, salt free foods are best and safest to feed.. Pomegranates, lightly cooked pumpkin, baked sweet potatoes, pine nuts, almonds, walnuts, various greens. Greens can be fed raw or slightly steamed.

will the crumbles be ok for my two Quaker parrots?

  1. yes

What size should I get for canaries

  1. Nibles

I have a powder-coated cage that has bare metal exposed due to chewing from my Senegal. Is this cage still safe to use? Can or should it be repainted?

  1. No, it is not safe! I have a Senegal that did that too. After going through two powder coated cages I finally purchased a King's Cage which is aluminum. Now I don't have to worry about it.

What size should I use for my Senegal Parrot?

  1. I have Senegals and they eat the medium size pellets.

Which pellet food is best for Senegals - And What kind of sealed food container do you use? The ones here are way too expensive

  1. You can get glass jars at a thrift shop or Salvation Army, goodwill or any resale store at a reasonable price. I keep everything in glass with a tight screw on lid and if not in a jar. I freeze till needed.

is this ok for any aged cockatiel or parrot ?

  1. Yes! Not too much protein as is the case with many parrot pellets... and this brand is cooked differently to preserve more enzymes and natural nutrients!
