Hallo. We have a dog door that is always open. During the day my dog goes outside to do his business, but at night he wakes me up and I have to walk with him. Is it possible to teach him to go by himself. If so how?
I have a young cat brand new to home and I have a sliding door. I am wondering can a cat be trained not to attempt to go through the screen door?
We have adopted our daughter's dog. She is a small breed mix. She has had at least one traumatic experience in which she was taken and dropped off on a rural road. There were storms during the three days it took to find her. She is very scared during stormy weather. Our problem with her is sometimes when left alone for several hours or a day, she will scratch at the door as if trying to dig her way out. She has destroyed the carpet near the door and the brand new linoleum we put in place.

A racoon or possum may be showing interest in my cat flap door that is installed in storm door,... is there anything I can put there over night when closed to repel? Will lavender branch or rosemary or mint keep them away? Will keeping outside flood liget keep them away? Any suggestions or experience will be greatly appreciated. I love in new jersey usa. What size crate should I purchase for an adult German Shepherd I am planning to adopt?
Aquiline is an inside cat although we try to have supervise outdoor leashtime we have found that his mesh harness what does what we were originally recommended stretches too much and he can rather easily slip out of it and get free he did this yesterday on our way back from the pet store to get him new toys. Will my ShiChon who is 15 long and 11 high fit in a airline soft sided carrier that is 17x11x11? Will she be comfortable as well? I’ve attached a picture of her in it. She climbed in herself.
