What is the Richell Convertable Elite Black Pet Door Panel made of?  Metal? Wood? Can it be used as a separate unit & attached to a wall or post? Is it suitable for outdoor use in summer? How does the latch operate?  Manual? Magnetic? Automatic?

    Made of wood (Door and frame) and steel (frame and wire slat). Unfortunately, this Door Panel cannot be attached to a wall. It's designed to use indoor only. The latch is operated by manually. To open, you need to lift the door panel releasing upper and lower locks.
