I have been keeping tortoises since the year 2000 and have tried all different commercial diets with Hermann's and Greek Tortoises. Rep Cal Tortoise Food is by far their favorite. They love the taste and I really like the protein to fiber ratio. The protein to fiber percentages and ratio is about the same as Mazuri's original Tortoise formula but Rep Cal is much less messy and the tortoises prefer the flavor much more. None of my tortoises will eat the Mazuri LS formula and they seem to not like the smell of it. The Mazuri small tortoise formula is much too high in protein. My tortoises will also not eat the Zoo Med Grassland Tortoise Food. Additionally, I really appreciate how Petco sells the 'natural' formula without the added color dyes. I feel that this is more healthy for my tortoises.
