Ingredients
Active Ingredients: Purpose: Ferric Subsulfate Hemostat. Inactive Ingredients: Bentonite, Potassium Aluminum Sulfate, Diatamaceous Earth, Ammonium Chloride.
Apply a pinch of styptic powder to the bleeding area, using moderate pressure until bleeding stops. Do not use in deep wounds, body cavities or burns. If bleeding does not stop, consult a veterinarian.Caution: Keep out of reach of children. For animal use only.
For external use on animals only. Do not use on deep cuts that require stitches or on severe wounds or body cavities. Keep this and all pet products out of reach of children. Store at temperature between 66 -77 degree F.

It’s works very well. I’m using for my dog’s nail trim. Sometimes get too deep cuz my dog’s nail is more like black so I can’t see good than white nail. But this is really works!

For most of you looking up this product you may have just clipped a nail too short and now there is bleeding that won’t stop. This happened to my pup and after trying several home remedies with lacking results I ran to Petco and picked up this amazing product. After cleaning the paw I applied styptic powder to the nail with some pressure for only a few seconds since my dog is a puppy and has issues staying still long enough. I was in awe at how fast this worked and the bleeding stopped immediately! Highly recommend this this product. It is a must if you plan to trim nails at home.

My mother is on blood thinners and at the beginning of the pandemic I bought this product for her to keep at her house in case of an emergency my mother has multiple underlying health conditions and I was trying to think of anything I could to give to her at her house because she lives alone and it is a drive from my house 3 in the morning last night she was screaming and crying she cut her ankle she didn't want to call 911 due to the pandemic killing so many people thank you thank you thank you thank you to the makers of this product whoever invented this a long time ago I know it's been used in barbershops for many years thank you a million times thank you we were unable to stop her bleeding it was maybe a couple liters of blood all over her house I told her to tie a trinket around her leg and pour the powder on it it was able to stop she didn't have to go to the ER oh my gosh this saved her life for an animal definitely get it just have it in your emergency kit for any reason thank you for the invention of this product in the this is the exact product you used you need to buy this for your animal in case there's a cut a bite and nail trim anything just have it on hand thank God thank God for this product good to have it for emergencies

I cut my little girl nail too short, it was a mess blood everywhere and I was desperate, nothing would make it to sto bleeding. I bought this powder at Petco, applied as directed and 20 SECOND and the nail stopped bleeding. It is a real MIRACLE!!!!!

Will this work on a skin tag?
- Remedy & Recovery Styptic Powder was designed to stop bleeding. We can't specifically recommend it as a solution for removing skin tags, however it can be used to stop any bleeding associated with the procedure.

how do i convert my r-300 sump to a freshwater sump
- Thank you for your question. There is no difference in sumps between salt and fresh water. The only possible thing would be if you have an in-sump skimmer. For fresh water you don't need a skimmer.

What additional things will you need to buy that are not included
- As long as your replacing your filter you will only need to purchase the stuff your putting in the refugium. Ie. mud, plants ,pods, rocks. I have an LED light with reverse time lighting and put my frags down there too they love it. Hope I helped.
