I bought this 6 weeks ago, and I keep having to remount it. And this week it fell apart. I wish I had bought a different brand.

Missing parts. Terrible instructions especially related to non-standard openings. Customer service at regalo is non-existent. We'll see how fast they get me the missing part.

Gate works for keeping my dog safe. The extension works great for a larger entryway.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The extra wide, easy open safety gate from Regalo Baby has some nice features as well as a few limitations. I like the two additional adaptor pieces that enable you to make the gate extra wide to accommodate a variety of door/wall widths. I also appreciate the easy open gate feature. When assembling the gate, it didn't seem like the gate latch was going to line up properly with the rest of the gate to ensure a locking mechanism. However, once you firmly secure the gate in place, the latch meets the gate appropriately. The major limitation I see with this product is that it is not easily movable from location to location throughout the house. In order for it to securely stay in place, you must screw in 4 "cup" plastic pieces into the wall or door frame to meet the gate and keep it in place. I tried using the gate without the "cup" pieces, but I'm afraid my child could easily push it over. I was not thrilled with the idea of having to permanently alter my home by screwing things into the wall or banister. But, if you have a need for a more permanent gate, this product has some nice features.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have very wide door openings. It's hard to find a gate that fits. The Extra Wide Easy Open Safety Gate fit's perfect. It's wide, and tall enough to keep my baby safe. I absolutely love that I can add, or remove panels to make it fit in different areas of my home. The fact it can be opened in the middle was a huge selling point. I'm short, and climbing over gates is very hard. I can easily open, and close it as needed. I highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This gate was intended for human and furry children use. Set up took some time to get the tension correct but required no tools, which is a plus! The gate portion is easy enough for me to open with one hand while holding a squirming toddler. The bars are also very easy to clean and wipe down from wet, muddy dogs. We will be getting another one for the laundry room!

It was simple to install and because I have a wide point from my living room to the bedrooms it fit great. It can also be made to fit smaller rooms which is perfect if I need to move it at a later date.

Now, I can get things done and not be afraid if my son is going to hurt himself. This beautiful gate overall height is 30 ins and 11 pounds which will last your baby for a long time. I use it for my doorway and as a room divider and it gets the job done. I love it.
