The Redtail Loach scavenges the bottom of the aquarium looking for leftover food. They can be semi aggressive towards other fish, but multiple loaches can be added to one aquarium. The Redtail Loach is considered a "scale-less fish," which means they can be more susceptible to diseases like Ich. Slower acclimation and pristine water conditions will help reduce the chance of diseases. Provide an environment with lots of caves and hiding places for this loach to sleep in. Adding this loach to an aquarium with sandy substrate or fine gravel with plants will help mimic their natural environment. For continued health, feed this loach a mix of frozen Bloodworms and high-quality sinking pellets.

ACCLIMATION: Avoid exposing new aquatic life to bright lights after opening the box. Turn off aquarium lights prior to floating aquatic life. Allow the sealed bag with your new fish to float in your aquarium for at least 15 minutes (but no longer than one hour) to ensure the water in the bag matches the temperature in your aquarium. A bacteria booster addition can assist with the addition of new aquatic life. Petco offers free water testing in store to determine if your water is safe for the addition of new aquatic life. DIET: A well-balanced diet consists of a variety of flakes, pellets, freeze-dried and frozen foods, depending on the species. FEEDING: Feed sparingly and no more than fish can eat in 1-2 minutes. Overfeeding can quickly foul the water, especially in smaller aquariums.

Recently one of my Dojo Loaches have developed a weird issue with its eyes. I have 3 others who are doing completely fine. My water parameters are based around what they need and the temp too. I did a water change as well to see if that would help but havent seen any progress and I believe it is getting worse. I'm going to quarantine it for now. What could be this be? I'm struggleing to find a specific answer for this. I attached pictures of the sick loach and one of my healthy ones.

what kind of fish are these? and would they be good with a male betta
I have an angelfish and a red tail shark in a 15 gallon tank for about 4 days and they get along great. The angel fish has been almost swimming kind of lazy like almost floating and then will swim when off balance. And belly kinda looks swollen as well as eyes. And my red tail shark seems to have a gray patch on it's side and not swimming as active as he was. Either hides in the back of tank or in a house for hours.
I’m getting a 20 gallln tank and I would like to know what are the best tropical freshwater fish that I could get? I would like to get a pleco, but he would get to big for my tank, so I’m wondering if I could donate him to my locomotive petco in The Dalles Oregon? Thank you I love PetCoach!!!

My goldfish's tail is damaged. The fin looks bitten off as there are exposed spines where the tail fin should be. There is also a red color that looks to be blood on the base of the tail, as well as the side of the dorsal fin close to the tail. It is also wiggling it's tail frantically when swimming.
