This toy was a great hit right out of the box for our female dogs - sometimes it takes a bit to let the toy air out and lose a plastic smell, but the photo you'll see is Kayla grabbing it straight out of the box, and she LOVED it and took it around everywhere. Which is when the problem occurred. My oldest male got it when she took it into the living room and managed to tear one end of the tug handles off and started to ingest the plastic. I couldn't even get a photo before my husband had it out of the house before he ate any more. So, five stars if your dogs are normal. It was a fun toy. One star if you have a little Godzilla in your midst like I do; it will not withstand that.

This tug of war toy is very sturdy and my dogs love playing with it! The rope holds up pretty well and the rubbery material is strong. The colors don’t show dirt too easily either, which I always appreciate in a product!

Our pup likes to “cronch” on her toys and she made short work of one of the straps for this toy. The center piece with the rubber and rope is durable and she’s still playing with it, even without the one strap. We can still tug tug and throw it for her.

I have 2 great danes who love to play tug-of-war with us and with each other. But my male is a toy destroyer, so i want sure how well it wound holds up. He likes the toy for the first day, but really doesn't care about it much anymore unless I grab it. It's pretty strong and has held up well to his aggressive play
