Great leash for big dogs, i felt like it gave my babygirl a better feel with the shock absobtion. And i love the separate handle for when you need REAL close control, its the perfect length too in my opinion! Definitely a great choice for bigger dogs!

Love the leash. Do not recommend with a Y band for two dogs. Our dogs are over 100lbs each so it’s definitely more control if you have two of these leash. The band tightener that controls how short or long the leash is does not stay!! It moves along the leash when a pull is initiated from your dog causing the shock absorption to lessen. This is with one dog on leash. Hubby wants to purchase another but we may look at a different brand first.

I’ve had the normal size Reddy leashes in the past, but this one is so much better! It’s probably 2 inches wide, but still has elasticity if you have a dog that loves yanking on the leash or gets jumpy. My 80lb dog feels so secure in this leash. Highly recommend.

Very nice sturdy leash. Well made with higher quality materials and metal latches. Would probably hold up well for a long time as long as your dog doesn't chew on it. Feels secure for bigger dogs that it till not break. Very nice.

This is a sturdy and comfortable leash. It has just enough stretchability to stop dog without choking your pet. Probably would be great for training young pups to walk at your pace. Also the length is ideal to give you're pet some leeway. I also like the loop for a handle

This leash has come in handy! It is tough and rugged as well as durable when walking a pup on training. The newest addition, Koda, a German shepherd likes to pull. This leash allows her some freedom but is able to reign her in and keep her next to me when walking.

I absolutely love the Reddy Grey Shock Absorbent Big Dog Lead! Even though my pup is only 40 lbs, she's a handful, and we needed something sturdy to keep her in line during training. We got this leash just in time (seriously...). This leash is incredibly strong and durable, which is essential because she's already chewed through two others. The shock absorption feature is fantastic – when she pulls, neither of us gets jerked, making walks much more enjoyable. I also appreciate the handle close to the collar, which gives me better control over her movements. Plus, the wide design of the leash makes it easy to handle. Overall, I couldn't ask for a better leash!

This is an incredibly sturdy leash! I was pleasantly surprised to receive it just after we adopted a 75lb+ bully mix, because it would have been too much for our smaller lab. The clip seems like it could tow a boat. Love how the 2nd handle is right at the neck instead of further back. The main handle is comfortably padded but the second one is not. The stretch section is in the lower half below the slide that extends the leash length. It has just enough stretch that your arm (or your dog’s neck) don’t get jerked if they try to bolt. Only drawback is that this is a HEAVY leash in addition to being heavy duty, so it pulls the dog’s collar down in the front if they’re walking loose leash and has a tendency to get under their leg.
