Perfect pet storage
Perfect storage for our new 15inch depth cabinet area. Has been tricky to find a quality item that fits for height and depth and be able to conveniently open the can. Sage green color is a bonus. High quality material and good seal.

These are perfect for getting the bags of dog food off the floor of our pantry. I bought two (one for each kind of dog kibble, because yes, our dog is spoiled) and stacked them in a corner of the kitchen. I was worried the 28 lb bag of food wouldn't fit in the "holds 25 lb" container, but they have cleverly left extra space so there was no problem. They seal *really* well (hubbie couldn't figure out how to get them open until I told him - take that, ants!), and the included scoops are a nice touch. Thumbs and paws up!

Excellent storage containers
These bins were exactly what I needed for my mud room area to store dog food in one and bird seed in the other. They stack well, look nice and are easy to access. I purchased the green and glad that I did. I have no doubt these will last a long time. Easily holds 25lbs of dog food which is perfect being that's the size bag I get and it's helpful to see when I'm getting low and need to purchase more. I have a family member that has the v. v. brand, not nearly as nice looking, only comes in white and I much prefer the shape and way that the Reddy containers open.

Almost 60lbs of Food
I fit two 30lb bags of large breed dog food (about 1 inch diameter) short of about two cups. I have an 85lb dog and a 45lb dog who will be sharing the food and wanted a container that will fit two large bags of dog food. This did the trick! I'm obsessed. There isn't room for the scoop to hang but the scoop fits in with the food still.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND
I bought this and the 25 lb size about a month ago and am very happy with both. One of my dogs has a good amount of beagle in her and is ALWAYS looking for food. She figured out how to break into the bin I had a couple of years ago, and I tried several replacements, finally settling on the vault type. I was never quite happy with those bins, they can be difficult to close properly and could not support any kind of weight on top without trying to collapse. I have had these Reddy bins for about a month now and they have been outstanding. My girl can't seem to find a way to break in, they are very simple to open and close, and the openings are a good size for pouring in larger bags of kibble. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

How many pounds does the medium size hold?

Description states the lid is non sealing. How can the container be airtight if the lid is non sealing? Dry matter could still become bug infested or moisture still be a problem.
