My dog isn’t doing hard poop it’s more like goey and green and I’m not sure what to do. he has the right food PetSmart has provided and still hasn’t helped him
Both my Australian Shepherd dogs have red runny stool. One is almost two and the other is almost one year. They have no fleas. Are fed Heartland Farms twice a day. They do stay outside most of the day while I’m at work. I am currently trying to deworm them with a powder packet from Tractor Supply. Please let me know what’s going on
Hello, I have a now 11 week old German shepherd puppy. He had frequent diarrhea until I reduced his intake a few days ago, now there is no diarrhea. His stool many days ago had been black sometimes, this morning when I woke up there was a couple of red drops with a lot of stool -2nd picture. A couple of hours ago his feces looked like they had sticks that he was chewing in them-3rd picture.
Hello doctor! Scooby is now 5 months old and he still doesn't eat anything. He always want new dish to eat. Always I have to mix one or otherthing to make him eat. I usually mix sweet in milk rice and it eats for 2 days and 3rd it again asks for new. Can you please help me out suggesting any liquid which makes him to eat every time. I also give RC in the morning but it doesn't eat as it expects for new tastes. Please suggest and help me to grow Scooby well Thank you
Hi, my two dogs golden retriever and a labrador both chewed on pork chop bone yest, while my golden has defecated rock hard poop but has been low on energy ever since, my labrador also initially made hard poop but after that has had watery diarrhoea the entire day and now i found few drops of red blood towards the end of watery poop along with gas. She seems all active though.
Good morning, My Chihuahua/Min-pin mix (Schlitzy) has been dragging his rear frequently for about 2-3 weeks. A week ago we had his anal glands expressed and the scooting cont'd. I bought an OTC fenbendazole dewormer, a 3 day course, last dose yesterday, yet the scooting is the same! He eats regularly, behaves regularly (other than scooting) and has stools that are solid. They are more more tan/orange-ish than brown and have had noticeable mucous strands. No vomit or diahrea. What else can I do?
I am pet sitting two pugs and their owner gave us their dog kibble. None of the dogs ate the food which made me wonder why and when they did eat it, it would be a little bit until I saw there was mold on the kibble (which explains the diarrhea). I bought new dog food and so far it's helped them. Their stool became soft to solid but now I'm seeing almost a green stool with white all around and they come out in small sizes now. What's going on? Am I doing something wrong?
We recently brought home a 9 wk. old white German Shepard. She is now 3 months old. Should her stool be more solid by now? The breeder sent some food with her which is Pedigree for puppies. We have had many dogs in our lives & I don't remember any of the puppies having stools like this. I have even started adding pumpkin to her food. Doesn't seem to have any affect. It's not runny but not hard either, somewhere in the middle. This makes it very hard to clean up. Welcome suggerstions
Hello I'm Candace I have 2 Yorkies they both have pancreatitis. I usually feed them moistened diamond puppy and boiled or canned chicken. A lady at Petco suggested I mixed in some grain free fresh pet food mixture and alternate with freeze dried Stella &Chewy's meal mixture (which is moistened with warm water). She said grain free bcuz they often have diarrhea or soft/mucas poop or my male dog has trouble pooping. I did this for 2 days. They love it but have had some soft poop. Is this normal?
My 2 yr old mixed breed (blood hound, lab German shepherd) swallowed a small stuffed toy 2 weeks ago. She passed part of it in a couple days. Monday she passed the body of it and continues to have very loose light colored stool. The Vet wants her stool soft, but I am concerned about the time frame. I am feeding boiled chicken and rice. She is playful when with other dogs, but tires easily on walks. Good appetite, no vomiting.
My puppy is having brown stools. It is soft to pick up though and little squirts of poop come out when he is almost finished going potty. Is this normal and is there something we can give him to firm up his stools? Thank you
My dog recently puked up these things and I couldn’t figure out what they were. She is not acting any different. Today I found more in her poop. Any idea what they are? They are hard and kind of plastic like. If soaked in water they do not absorb any water
