Quality bag for small dogs
This is a great bag, I love Reddy products for their quality and this bag is no exception. My 13lb miniature schnauzer loves it too. There is a flap on the front that can fold down with zippers and buttons, the bottom is a hard lined fabric and there is a clip inside to secure the dog. This bag comes with four exterior pockets as well. Not bad on the shoulder and more comfortable than other dog bags I’ve carried. The bowl it comes with looks identical to a different bowl I have seen at Petco from a different brand too their other I think like in house brand and it’s quite a large bowl, bigger than any standard water bowl I’ve ever seen for little dogs. The bowl is connected to an exterior key ring where you can hook other stuff too. The top flaps which are two pieces that zip together have Velcro on the ends so if you wanted you could close your dog fully in the bag - but my little guy just pushes and opens the Velcro so we’ve never really done like a fully enclosed thing and he’s so well behaved in his bag otherwise it’s not really necessary. Overall, I think this is a quality bag for the dog on the go.

My biggest issue with these bags is that the straps are too centered if my dog moves the bag teeters back-and-forth. The straps need to be more towards the edge of the bag so it’s stable in the front and back. I have a 17lb yorkiepoo .

Great for Corgi
This carrier actually fits my long corgi! She's about 22 lbs and she fits in this carrier perfectly. Not too snug or too big. Nice quality and way more affordable and bigger size than those expensive dog carrier totes.

Hard to keep the dog in
Because this zips at the top, and doesn’t really seal, a squirmy dog won’t stay in. A bag with a zip would be much better. Good quality bout had to return.

My cat actually liked it!
I love the size of this carrier. It’s perfect for my adult cat, she’s small so there’s plenty of room for her. She absolutely hates the hard sided carrier but she kept rubbing her face and curling up all snug while inside this soft sided carrier! Definitely a win! I also love how there is a zipper and Velcro sides so I can open it up and she can pop her head out which is super cute. I also love the clip on water bowl and there’s even a spot to hold animal waste bags. I can also tell this is very well made.

what makes this not airline approved? I looked at the requirements delta has for a carrier and this meets all of their needs. Has anyone used this bag on a plane?
- Hey smm005, This bag is not airline approved, as mentioned previously, for those two aspects. For carriers for pets to be airline approved, besides meeting the requirements for specific dimensions, a waterproof base, and being able to fit under the seat in front of you, another stipulation is that it should be sturdy and not collapsible. This prevents any accidental crushing of your pet by another bag, or item that may fall on top of it. Also, each airline's list of approved pet carriers that they accept, for in either the cabin with you under the seat or for in the cargo hold underneath the cabin, varies. So check with each airline, and airport if you can, beforehand to ensure that travel for you and your little(s) is as streamlined and quick as possible to prevent them from becoming stressed. Some airlines have programs or processes that you can request for yourself. Some airlines and/airports offer and sell approved FAA and IATA carriers for cabin, and sometimes cargo hold, use.
