Rust colored algae in both of my 10 gallon tanks after switching from gravel to sand substrate. What can I do?
Hello i have a fish tank 45l with 11 fishes in it (Shubunkin , opaline gourami , honey gourami , trichogaster etc) . i added the fish a week ago and tested the water and it was fine.today i see that 2 of my Scalars aren't eating like everyone else , so i tested the water . Everything was fine except for Nitrite levels that was 3.0 - 5.0 ppm. I changed 25 % of the water and added Easy Life Filter Medium and after some hours i tested again the water quality and it was the same I also added salt
After using metronidazole 400mg×2 tablets in 75 litre aquarium tank, my two parrot fish has thread like some seeing near gills and genital area ? How to treat them ?

My fish tank got infested with pink algae and green algae and the fish are acting lethargic and dying.
I have recently used medication in my 50 gal freshwater fish tank with one 22 year old comet goldfish in it . the meds cured my fish but must have killed my beneficial Bacteria as now my established tank has been going through another nitrogen cycle. It's been four weeks now the ammonia us back to zero so is nitrite zero BUT my nitrates are now spiked about 80 and the water is cloudy. Did 2 partial water changes over the last 8 days. Hello! I was wondering if you could help me out. The internet doesn’t help out to much and the bottle of the test strips doesn’t tell me the ideal amount some of these should be at. So if you could help me out here I would really appreciate it. And please tell me the amount it should be at and if it isn’t ideal how to improve it please and thank you. GH• (General Hardness) 30 KH• (Carbonate Hardness) 40 pH• 7.0/7.5 NO2• 0 NO3• 0 I am testing the tank for a betta if that makes it vary.
How to use simple antibiotics, anti fungal and anti parasitic medicines like this azithromycin , doxycycline,Fluconazole and Metronidazole for fish diseases ?....And which medicine use in swimbladder disease ? ...And any medicine for after water change for preventive diseases ?....I have used always epsom salt /Rock salt after water change ?
I have a problem with parrot fish tank , when after water change I used 1000mg erythromycin for prevention to fungus and bacterial infection for parrot fish , so i today mistakenly not running filter and heater ,after that I seeing that in a large quantities white micro parasitic or bacteria type in tank in a free swimming stage swim all over tank though what I do that in this condition please help me ?
I keep axolotl and am having a continuous fungus problem, my water tests are great. I can provide the parameters if I actually speak with someone. It’s been a period of a few months and the fungus keeps coming back. This is just one of them 3 out of 4 have gotten it.
