The Red Tiger Oscar is a stunning and vibrant freshwater cichlid, known for its striking red-orange body and dark, tiger-like markings. This visually captivating variation of the classic Oscar, with its eye-catching appearance, grows up to 12 inches, making it a dynamic and engaging centerpiece in large aquariums. Highly interactive and intelligent, Red Tiger Oscars can recognize their owners and are known for their curious and personable nature. They thrive in tanks of at least 70 gallons with stable water conditions and efficient filtration. Due to their territorial behavior, they should be housed with similarly sized or non-aggressive tankmates. With a varied diet of high-quality pellets, frozen foods, and occasional live treats, the Red Tiger Oscar's health and vibrant colors will flourish. A perfect choice for aquarists seeking both a visually stunning and interactive fish, this Oscar brings personality and beauty to any aquarium.

I have 2 salmenese tiger fish and two smaller fish in approximately 3.5 L bowl. I bought them on 1 April. 3 act normal but one act abnormal from first day. One salmenese tiger fish doesn't move much first it stayed at bottom now it's gapping at surface and if I try to catch to check it it goes down again. It's fins are turning red or I don't know if it already was. I don't understand how to help. Parents are out town so I can't go to shop. I am not sure if all are eating food.
I recently found out my tiger Oscar is female. I’ve had her for 3 years. Two days ago, she laid eggs. She is the only one in the tank. She has been guarding them, which is obvious why. Today she must have eaten them. There is like 3 left and she is still guarding the area. I am unsure what I should do.

My pet pike cichlid is not eating and is always staying in one corner of the tank. It is in a 20 gallon with 2 convict cichlids, 2 firemouth cichlids, 1 Oscar, and two plecos. My ammonia is 0, nitrate 0 and ph is 6.5. Water is a little tinted because of the driftwood.
