The Red Lipped Blenny are a fish with a lot of personality and can be added to reef aquariums with peaceful tank mates. This blenny is very beneficial because they graze on diatoms and hair algae. Regardless of this grazing behavior, their diet should be supplemented with sinking pellets and meaty frozen (thawed) foods. Even though this blenny is considered peaceful, they typically will not tolerate others of the same species or other similar looking fish that invade their territory. They spend most of their time perched on top of the live rock or scooting across the aquarium floor. Their small adult size of about 5" makes them ideal for smaller aquariums. The Red Lipped Blenny is reddish brown in color while their pectoral fins are a darker yellow. Per their name they have bright red lips. They are found in the Eastern Atlantic inhabiting the shallow areas of reefs where there is considerable wave action.

ACCLIMATION: Avoid exposing new aquatic life to bright lights after opening the box. Turn off aquarium lights prior to floating aquatic life. Allow the sealed bag with your new fish to float in your aquarium for at least 15 minutes (but no longer than one hour) to ensure the water in the bag matches the temperature in your aquarium. A bacteria booster addition can assist with the addition of new aquatic life. Petco offers free water testing in store to determine if your water is safe for the addition of new aquatic life. DIET: A well-balanced diet consists of a variety of flakes, pellets, freeze-dried and frozen foods, depending on the species. FEEDING: Feed sparingly and no more than fish can eat in 1-2 minutes. Overfeeding can quickly foul the water, especially in smaller aquariums.
If we need to contact you for any reason about your order, shipping of your package may be affected. Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email with your order summary. Orders are subject to verification of payment information by phone or email. We ship for arrival to the customer Tuesday through Friday and Saturday for an extra charge where available.

I just noticed a redness spot wondering if it’s from excessive licking.
Hello! My parakeet, 6 years old, has developed a thin reddish black growth that seems to be coming from the inside of his beak and splitting off. It's about 1/8 of an inch long. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
When I bought my white tree frog from Petsmart it had what looks like an old scar on his leg (see attached picture). So far he has been acting as normal as my other white tree frog, other than being a little shy and better at hiding. I've had him for over a week now, should I warrant concern? (And what is something I can do if there is.)

Hello, my bearded dragon has a glossy eye for the past few weeks. It had been very watery but today was by far the worst. He could bearly open his eye when he first woke up and it had a crust like skin around it. He also just pooped and there was blood in it. His name is Draco and he is about 2.5 years old.
My frog is not eating since I bought it 2 days ago, it stays sticked to the tank's glass most of the time, it's skin color is dark green. I gave it a cricket and a worm.
