Remi was prescribed clavamox i was looking online and found amoxicillin trihydrate and clavulanate potassium for half price is this the same as clavamox from everything that I have read it says it is. A vet that specializes in neurology provided me with Gabapentin 50 mg tabs to give my cat twice a day. There are no numbers on them, just white round scored tablets. Evertthing I google says lowest dose is 100 mg. Concerned I may have been given the wrong medication.

My vet prescribed 5 mg of omeprazole for Jack. The lowest dose the pharmacy carries is 20mg, so I will quarter the pill. However all the tablets have the ‘delayed release coating’ and instructions say not to break to coating or split the pill. Am I ok to do that to get the 5mg dose? Is it harmful to break the coating and release the whole dose at once? Thank you!
