My rat Nessie has a big lump near her tail
Hi I have a pet rat and since the day I got her she makes these weird noises. its like a scratchy sound, like she is struggling to breath. She eats fine but she's always tired and lazy but she walks fine drinks water. Do you know whats wrong?
My pet rat has tumors I think. He's three what can I do for him
I have a 6 lb rat/chi mix that just developed a blister type mole on her back in the last week. It seems to have gotten bigger in the last couple of days. What is this?
Medication suggestion for a month old baby rat with beginner signs of a URI.
I have a male rat and was wondering if I can get him neutered? Or is it too risky as he is a small animal?
My rat was perfectly fine the night before but this morning I found her hiding in a pile of blankets in her cage and she seemed to be weakened, I flipped her over and noticed a tiny bit of reddish discharge from her vagina. I gave her some broccoli which she ate but I'm so worried about her, this happened overnight.
I have two female rats. We just recently added a male into the cage. I intended only to get one of the females pregnant with the male. Somehow the male got to the other female and got her impregnated to ( I think) this morning I saw that she had blood coming out of her vagina. I just want to make sure she ok or if she is hurt. the females are about 4 months old and the male is a bit older.
I have a new rat, he's just under a year old, and he's much more talkative than the other two. He doesn't sound sick, he is a very happy and bouncy baby, just very talkative and after mixed reviews on it being a personality thing or a health thing, I figured I'd ask a professional.
Hello, i am concerned about my new pet rat that i had bought on 17th of May and ever since she has been taken from the pet shop, she (dambo) started sneezing frequently and still currently sneezes and produces porphyrin around eyes and nose area but other than that, Dambo seems to be playing with her friend sometimes but mostly sleeps during the day. please tell me what i should do.
I just noticed my pet rat has weird red dots along his head near his ears, his chin, a little on his face and his shoulders. He does have a cage mate. Both rats are male, about a year of age. I was just wondering what this could be.
What would cause my Rat Terrier to eat an dig at her back
