The Randall's Anthias has a maximum size of about 3" and will need a substantial amount of swimming room and hiding places. The Randall's Anthias are found in the Pacific Ocean inhabiting caves or coral rubbles by steep drop offs and channel walls. The female Randall's Anthias can be added in groups of at least 3, but they do much better in a harem size of 6 or 9. Usually, one in the group will morph into a male, but a male Randall's can be added for every 4 or 5 females, which gives a much more completed look and saves the fish a dominance struggle. The males will protect (and harass to a certain degree) the females, making for great entertainment. Randall's are quick to take a large variety of foods and have shown themselves to be quite hardy. These fish are well suited for automated feedings on pelletized foods, which allows you to get them a more natural food distribution over the course of a day. The males are predominately a pink coloration with vibrant red in its fins.

ACCLIMATION: Avoid exposing new aquatic life to bright lights after opening the box. Turn off aquarium lights prior to floating aquatic life. Allow the sealed bag with your new fish to float in your aquarium for at least 15 minutes (but no longer than one hour) to ensure the water in the bag matches the temperature in your aquarium. A bacteria booster addition can assist with the addition of new aquatic life. Petco offers free water testing in store to determine if your water is safe for the addition of new aquatic life. DIET: A well-balanced diet consists of a variety of flakes, pellets, freeze-dried and frozen foods, depending on the species. FEEDING: Feed sparingly and no more than fish can eat in 1-2 minutes. Overfeeding can quickly foul the water, especially in smaller aquariums.

My year old has contracted either Ich or velvet. He is trying to scratch against his tank he has white patches but also when I've shined a light on him It also looks like he could have velvet. When I noticed his lethargy and his behavior I immediately transferred him into a smaller bowl to treat him with betafix (all I have until the pet shop opens covered his bowl to leave him in darkness His appetite is normal. He's bloated and is breathing but his gills I think are swollen. IDontWantHimToDie
My male betta seems to be ill and I can’t find an aquatic vet. I think he has tail rot, but I’m not sure what else.
I recently bought a pearl arrowana fish what care should I take
I dont know if you are a tropical fish specialist. But there is something going on in my tank and need help diagnosing it. My corydora has two raised growths ..one at the base of its fin. And one under the eye. My pleco seems a bit tattered too. A little flashing was happening with my yoyo loach also. That's now stopped after a water change.
My fish is bulging is appearance and I am fairly sure is a female, the tank water is getting too cold for them though but I am working on that as fast as I can. I am worried she has dropsy or has eggs, what is going on?
My betta is a baby boy (4monthold) When I first got him he was red with white. 2 months ago his growing fins began becoming blue. Abt 3 weeks ago I see that he began losing his color a bit& began becoming kind of transparent, so I took the water to get checked& the water was good but the store couldnt check for ammonia cause they had ran out of that test(water has conditioner). Last night I notice that he started getting a shiny silver color on 1side of mouth& in gill. But he is acting normal
I have two male fish guppies. One of them seems to have like a wired black spot on its belly (in the middle of its body). Is this normal? Could it be a disease? Any cure to this? I’m worried. Also it has a little bit of white on its tail :(
