The Randall's Anthias has a maximum size of about 3" and will need a substantial amount of swimming room and hiding places. The Randall's Anthias are found in the Pacific Ocean inhabiting caves or coral rubbles by steep drop offs and channel walls. The female Randall's Anthias can be added in groups of at least 3, but they do much better in a harem size of 6 or 9. Usually, one in the group will morph into a male, but a male Randall's can be added for every 4 or 5 females, which gives a much more completed look and saves the fish a dominance struggle. The males will protect (and harass to a certain degree) the females, making for great entertainment. Randall's are quick to take a large variety of foods and have shown themselves to be quite hardy. These fish are well suited for automated feedings on pelletized foods, which allows you to get them a more natural food distribution over the course of a day. The females are pink in coloration with a yellow caudal fin and face.

ACCLIMATION: Avoid exposing new aquatic life to bright lights after opening the box. Turn off aquarium lights prior to floating aquatic life. Allow the sealed bag with your new fish to float in your aquarium for at least 15 minutes (but no longer than one hour) to ensure the water in the bag matches the temperature in your aquarium. A bacteria booster addition can assist with the addition of new aquatic life. Petco offers free water testing in store to determine if your water is safe for the addition of new aquatic life. DIET: A well-balanced diet consists of a variety of flakes, pellets, freeze-dried and frozen foods, depending on the species. FEEDING: Feed sparingly and no more than fish can eat in 1-2 minutes. Overfeeding can quickly foul the water, especially in smaller aquariums.

My fish is bulging is appearance and I am fairly sure is a female, the tank water is getting too cold for them though but I am working on that as fast as I can. I am worried she has dropsy or has eggs, what is going on?
I have an angelfish and a red tail shark in a 15 gallon tank for about 4 days and they get along great. The angel fish has been almost swimming kind of lazy like almost floating and then will swim when off balance. And belly kinda looks swollen as well as eyes. And my red tail shark seems to have a gray patch on it's side and not swimming as active as he was. Either hides in the back of tank or in a house for hours.

Hi, I bought 6 platy fish and a black corydora catfish about 2 weeks ago, all seem in good health bright colours and swimming round as normal they are in a 48l tank which the pet store said was a big enough tank for them all, but one of them seems to be loosing his scales or I’m afraid he may have itch but it dosent look like it I hope you can help, thanks.
Yesterday, while cleaning it’s tank, I noticed she had 1 white dot on its wen and black on her tail. Today I noticed another 1 white dot. So now she has 2 white dots on her wen and black on her tail. She’s acting perfectly normal, eating normal and all. What do I do? I got her from petsmart on 1/12/19.
I have a female fish cichlid that has a hole in her back by her tail is it a parasite or bad fin rot (body rot) I'm afraid if left unchecked it will go straight through to the other side of her body
