My cat eats her food really fast and drinks water extremely fast then goes and throws up. If I give her a small treat she will scarf it down and then goes and throws up. Every time she does this it's the morning and she will throw up more than once. She purposely eats a lot and then drinks a lot. Would a slow feeding bowl work?
I bought a slow feeder from the pet store to slow down my cat's eating but she is barely eating and she will walk away from the dish. What should I look for when buying cat food? Blossom likes wet but she occasionally throws up ( especially if it's in gravy or sauce) and Kenwood likes dry but will also eat Blossom's food if available. Right now Blossom is eating Purina Pro Plan and Kenwood is eating Fancy Feast Filet Mignon and w/ seafood and shrimp. Both are inside cats with little to moderate activity . Blossom is 9 years old and Kenwood is 3 1/2. Kenwood is a big black cat and slightly overweight while Blossom is small.

I have been trying to wean my five week old foster kitten from the bottle for almost two weeks now and today was the first time she ever ate the pate and formula gruel off a shallow dish. She ate a good amount and seemed to like it. However, since then (early this morning) she has refused to eat off the shallow dish again and will only take the bottle. How do I get her to eat off the shallow dish again like she did this morning?
