The system features powerful odor control to keep your house smelling fresh and clean. Specially designed, mess-minimizing Zeolite cat litter pellets help limit tracking throughout your home. The pellet cat litter also captures solid waste, letting urine pass through to the absorbent Ion urine pads below. Worst cat litter box on the market!!!
This by far the worst cat litter box I have ever encountered! After 2 days of our cat using this the pad was saturated with urine and the area just smells like cat pee! The pellets are the worst they don’t smell horrible! Tidy cats should have to refund us for this horrible product! Should really test your product out before you put on the market! Anyone looking into this product should look else where!

Product has changed. It sticks together more and has to be replaced sooner. One container would last 7-10 days and now it's 6 days. The litter turns into clay and is impossible to get out of litter box.

Amazing --no smell, my cat loves it, easy to use
I have had this litter box system for years now and absolutely love. It is so easy to maintain and there is no smell or litter all over the place. I have a set schedule I've been using and it is awesome. Every Sunday I'll change the pee pad and then every month I change the pellets. Whenever I change the pellets I wipe everything down with a wet wipe to keep it clean and maintained. My cat loves it and I love it. I paired it with the litter genie and it's made my life so simple.

Not worth the money
Bought this litter box system 3 weeks ago for our new kitten. I thought it would be a nice change from the normal litter smell and mess. Although it is much less messy than normal litter, it smells terrible even if you scoop the litter daily and change the pee pad regularly. Not only that, but we have had to replace the litter once a week as opposed to what the bag claims being a “month supply” of litter. For us, that $20 a week and way too much to be paying for a poop smell in our house. Overall very disappointed with this purchase.
No, I do not recommend this product.

need option to purchase replacement green tray
I've had the hooded version for several years and even though I try and keep it washed out and changed regularly. I have noticed that the cat's urine has started to leave a crusty residue on the green screen tray and washing it only has gotten me so far and it has steadily progressed in the years we have used the system despite my scrubbing. the rest of the hood and trays are in great shape BUT nowhere does it seem that I can purchase just a replacement green tray. This seems SUPER wasteful.

What are the pellets made of? Non toxic to other animals if eaten?
- Zeolite-non toxic minerals- my cats did not eat it but per Purina you should not allow them to eat it.

I’m looking for the xl tidy cat litter box you next to the hooded unit. When I went from the traditional hooded cat box one of my cats isn’t wanting to use it. I think because it’s much smaller.
- I had this problem when I started using the pellets. I removed the hood for a couple of days till she got used to it. Then I was able to add the hood.

Can I purchase the shorter rim that goes around the box? The hood that came with the Hooded System does not fit between my toilet and sink and that is the only acceptable place for the litter box in my apartment. Thanks!

Could you use the crystall litter in the box which takes care of the poo smell better and will still allow the urine to drain on the pads?

Does the hooded system use the same pads that have been sold for like, the past decade? I had two of these boxes when they first came out and ordered way too many pads, and I’d get this hooded one, but only if the pads are the same. Thanks
