The litter system is great. We needed one ASAP so I was excited to qualify for free same day delivery. I had no idea it would be delivered by a dasher. There was a close to $7 tip added to my order. I did not see anything that said how it would be delivered on the website.

This is the best cat litter box I have ever used. I use it with pine pellets and I can’t belief how much it eliminates the smell as well as how much more easier it is to clean up. The saw dust from the pellets falls right through the grates. I have three cats and use the xl box but I might need to get another box because I’m cleaning out their box twice a day. The pine pellets are very affordable compared to normal cat litter. I am glad I purchased this. I use an Airwick air freshener over their box and it also helps significantly with the smell. My cats are very happy

I've used the smaller (not covered) system for a while now for my maine coon kitten and love it. I purchased the XL for my daughter who has a heavier cat and was thinking of getting another xl for my growing mc, but there are issues with the xl that are stopping me. 1. It's really huge and takes up a lot of space. 2. It's so large that the tray that holds the litter seems flimsy and makes the cat nervous to walk on it. 3. The uneven draining (hole for liquid is not in the middle) causes urine to sit on the long side if that side is used and then causes smell. I think they could knock a couple inches off both sides and still have an xl box that would feel sturdier and drain better

I bought this a couple years ago and I am very pleased with it. I just wish that it had a better reserve for the key part. I have to change it every day. I can’t leave for the weekend. and I only have one cat. He just goes a lot. The pellets are nice. I like the upper half.

This pellet system is the best litter box system for our two kitties. It’s sooo easy to use and keep clean!

I really love this litter box system, but I’m begging you to please consider making a large size, somewhere in between the regular and the XL. The regular size is a bit on the small side if you have larger cats, but the XL is so big that it doesn’t fit inside any litter box enclosures that are on the market. I feel like this would be a perfect system if there was an additional size offered!

I bought this 2 months ago for my one cat she loves it! No littering between her toes, no litter on my carpet, and with a little baking soda on top of the pee pad I have no smell in my house! I simply washed the pellets when I need to clean them and put in fresh. Dry the clean ones and put them away for the next time I need to clean them. I replace the pee pads probably once a week.

How much pellets do you use in the XL box? I have the regular size breeze box and use 3.5 lbs per month. Can I get away with using 3.5 lbs per month in this larger box? Will 3.5 lbs of pellets cover the small openings at the bottom of the XL box?

Is the bottom part (the part where the tray slides in) watertight? Or, in other words, if I take the tray out is that bottom part solid under the tray?

No it is not. The tray serves as the bottom. It sits on an extended piece of the litter container. I have found that the liner and the tray are the key to the integrity of the bottom.

If I buy from Petco and say after a few weeks my cat isn't taking to this system what is the return policy - can I return to the store where I bought it from and get my money back?

I doubt it. For sanitary reasons the product couldn't be resold once used.

It looks like the Pee Pad doesn't cover the entire pellet bed. What happens when the cat pees near the entrance?

If you will notice the bottom of the unit is sloped going down to the grid. This is so the urine drains down to the grid portion where it goes through down to the pad. When mine was new I was wondering if it would work. But now that I've had it for a while, trust me, it works just fine.
