Use a moisture-proof cat box large enough to comfortably accommodate your cat(s). We recommend removing solid waste daily and cleaning the cat box with warm water and a mild detergent between litter changes. Directions: 1. Pour to a depth of 2-3 inches. 2. Remove solids daily. 3. Add more litter to maintain a depth of 2-3 inches. Store in a dry place.

Is this safe to use for tiny kittens just learning how to use the litter box? And does it have a strong perfume smell?
- I am not qualified to say whether it is safe to use tidy cat for baby kittens. That is a question which would be better answered by a veterinarian. I have read that kittens have a tendency to eat things they should not and that may cause digestive damage. You can google your question and get a lot of information about whether it would be safe or not. I started my cat with fresh step unscented at 8 weeks of age because fresh step is softer and that worked out well. Later, I started my cat on tidy cat unscented. There is no perfume smell if you get the unscented version. I hope you get your answer and wish you best of luck with your kitties.
