Clean the cat box with warm water and a mild detergent between litter changes. Directions: 1. Pour to a depth of 3-4 inches. 2. Remove solids daily. 3. Add more litter to maintain a depth of 3-4 inches. Store in a dry place.

Worst new formula change ever photo is of the orig
We use to buy the pails all the time until you changed your cat litter formula. I do not recommend or will I ever purchase this product again. All you did was make it to where the product doesn’t work and you go through a pail in just 1 week due to changing litter every other day due to now it is non clumping and it does not control odors. You as a company need to change your formula back to the original formula that did work. Which is it did control odors and did clump. Oh well looks like with all the reviews and people will quit buying it you may rethink and go back to the original formula version because being greedy is not right.

Doesn’t work as said
This stuff is expensive and doesn’t clump and my house smells like cat pee. I’ll never buy it again. I’ve had cats all my life and my house has never ever smelt so bad.

Clumps disintegrate!!
Worst litter ever. Urine clumps disintegrated. You can never get all the urine out. I bought 3 buckets and I’m so disappointed.

Formula changed and no longer performs…at all
I’ve been a loyal Tidy Cats user for 20+ years and over the last year or more the product has became complete rubbish. Urine just saturates, no longer clumps, and the smell is atrocious. The dust is overwhelming. Unfortunately, I will be looking for a new brand.

Not the Litter it Was
I’ve been using Purina Tidy cats 24/7 performance clumping cat litter for probably over 20 years. I’ve tried other brands and they just couldn’t compete until now.. the last 14 bags of litter I bought I’ll have the same issue where the clump turns to clay that is impossible to get out of the litter pan! And when you do get the clump 30% of the time, the clump falls apart and mixes in with clean litter so you have to start all over a lot more often with a brand new bag of litter. It’s also become a problem that the litter sticks to my cats legs and I have to cut it out of their fur, even though they’re short. I have four cats good litter is important. Very important. I clean their litter boxes every day. So I’ve been having to use a brand new bag of litter every couple of days which is way too expensive. I’m hoping whatever change formulation they’ve made

Bad bad litter, worst I have even used in 20 years. So so much dust my whole house is dusty from it. Tracking absolutely horrible. Worst litter you can buy.

We're sorry to hear that it’s not performing as expected, and we understand how frustrating that can be—especially when odor control and clumping are essential to keeping your home fresh and clean. We want to reassure you that there has been no recent change to the formula. It’s still designed to deliver 10-day odor control when used as directed, along with strong clumping and low-dust benefits. That said, litter performance can be affected by how it's maintained and the number of cats in the household. To get the best results, we recommend scooping, stirring, and leveling the litter at least once a day. An equivalent amount of fresh litter should be added to replace what’s removed. The entire litter box should be changed, cleaned, and washed out every month. When adding fresh litter, aim to maintain a depth of 3 to 4 inches in each box. We also suggest having one litter box per cat, plus one additional box. For example, if you have three cats, you should ideally have four litter boxes in your home.
