Had high hopes but had bad reaction for my cat. Started 10 days ago to in hopes it would calm her anxiety in about 6 weeks( for that's when it days to see results). Everything was fine for 9 days and then my cat threw up multiple times two times out of the 10 days. After searching Google it says if this happens to stop due to a possible intolerance, allergic reaction or having a sensitivity to meds like this. The directions say to use a whole packet and I decided to split that whole packet into three of her meals( before any vomiting started). Well even doing this she threw up. Pull up on further review it says to start off with a pinch to get them used to this I really wish that it would have stated that on the directions. After calling my vet she said discontinue it so I don't even feel comfortable trying to decrease down to a lower dose. So I am money out of pocket now and still searching for something that will help calm her. I will say this, my cat is very very picky about food or anything that touches it. She absolutely adored the taste of these packets. Which is just more unfortunate because she really liked the taste and I Know It Takes 6 weeks for it to work but I really had high hopes I found something for her anxiety. I have tried everything such as prescriptions, Gabapentin and, the pheromone plugins, trainers. So I guess I'm back to the drawing board. Bad or I might stop it and see if throwing up subsides and then maybe start off super super slow like a pinch here and there for a few weeks. Please be warned if your cat is sensitive or you have any hesitation start off very very slow. Way slower than what it says to do. Which makes sense to me because anytime you change a cat's diet it always needs to be very gradual. Even though this is an a drastic change to the diet it is still incorporating something completely different. So I'm not sure if she just has an intolerance or is having an allergic reaction but hopefully they will return it.

one of my girls is extremely anxious. even with two Feliway plug-ins in my room she still spent most of her time hiding. I've been giving her Calming Care for almost a month and the difference is like night and day. she no longer spends most of her time hiding, she comes out readily for me and even sometimes for other familiar people. She likes the taste and eats almost all of her food every dinner. She's still anxious and shy but there's already been a vast improvement and I hope she'll continue to improve as she stays on it. Worth every penny for me to see my girl happy again. I was going to talk to her vet about Prozac before this and I'm glad to be able to avoid that experience for her. She also has a very sensitive stomach (suspected chicken sensitivity) and this doesn't give her the dreaded stinky poops! I do agree with the other reviewer saying they dislike the individual packets, it would be nice if I could buy a large tin of it with a scoop or something, and if I could buy larger quantities at a time for less price per serving. That's really my only complaint though!

It works, but I wish there were options outside the individual packets. It feels wasteful.

I read this package at the store as I was searching for something to help a stray that adopted us to get along with the rest of the crew. I tried the plug-ins and collars to help decrease anxiety but found them to be ineffective. This product stated it could "help promote positive behaviors such as playing and seeking out social contact", and that is what it did. I have a lot of cats and only one that was really struggling to mix with the group. Her social skills were amazing with us but not other cats. We found her abandoned in a parking lot that is noted for people who dump their animals. After the first day of this product there was a noticeable difference. So much of a difference that I am curious why it works so well. For now I will keep using this so that she can continue to live a happier, fun filled life instead of one that is always on the defense.

They seem to have calmed Dorian down during his vet trips and recent move. He was less aggressive and anxious and I’m looking forward to seeing the effect during the 4th of July. When I had a relative move in, while looking for a place, my poor kitty would not eat or use her litter box and constantly hid. She had it on top of her moist food and when ever she saw me opening up one she was meowing saying hurry up mom I want my dinner. I noticed her a littler calmer when ever I gave to her.
