Is Purina pro plan a good food for French bulldogs? Lou is on royan canin gastrointestinal low fat after a case of colitis. It’s time to transition him to something else and I’m looking to change his food. My cat had annual blood work done and was diagnosed with SLIGHT increase in kidney values. The vet recommended that I put her on some sort of kidney diet food(Royal Canine or Hills Science Diet) She normally eats Rachael Ray Nutrish dry, and Special Kitty canned. I was looking at the ingredients in the food brands the vet recommended and they have a lot of grains and fillers. I was thinking to keep the foods I normally use for her and buy some sort of kidney support supplement instead. Thoughts?

No known environmental changes or new house products. Now starting Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein Adult HP for 2-3 weeks in case it's food allergies. It's $50 for 7.7 lbs. Noticed 12 yr. F. Lab Retriever having trouble releasing urine. Visit to vet for vaccine, felt dogs tummy and suggested ultra sound. Suggested immediate surgery because many stones seen. After surgery said most stones ever seen. I saw them, 15 lbs of stones. Says needs to be on Royal Canine Urinary SO dog food for life. She is not tolerating more than 1/2 her food being this food. Am mixing with her old food Blue Buffalo Senior. Now suggesting other Brand. Need special food for life?

She is a fussy eater.
