Cannot Rave About This Food Enough!

ACM2003

I have been feeding this to my epileptic Shih Tzu mix for 4 years now. It was recommended to us by his vet during a medical crisis and it has made a huge difference in his life. Most notably is that we have been able to cut down his dose of phenobarbital by a third. He is now 13.5 years old and thriving. His energy levels are great and his coat looks amazing. I simply cannot say enough good things about this food. It has given me extra time with my pup, quality time at that.

5 years ago, for my dog, this food stopped her seizures with no other meds. I'm now fostering another dog and using the food and it's stopping his seizures. Both dogs loved and love the taste.

Really Do See a Difference.

this food really made a difference in the number of seizures my pet had. Since starting the food, it was about 7 months before he had another one. I truly am grateful that before even starting him on meds, this made a difference.

Great quality and my picky old girl will eat it! Everyone from our horses to our dogs eat Purina products. Always good quality food that keep my animals healthy. All our animals have specific dietary needs for either allergies or medical reasons and Purina has always been our go to.

Helps but a large breed kibble is needed

DanaR79

Our 4yr old German Shepherd rescue has Idiopathic Epilepsy. After 2 years his seizures had progressed so severely we thought we would have to put him down but we held out until seeing a second specialist. While we waited our searches led us to this food. No veterinarian had mentioned anything before. We then brought it up to the second neurologist who agreed with the trial and made medication changes. It's been 6 months and we've seen major improvement in time between seizures. We believe that in combination with his medications the food has been working. Our one complaint is the kibble size. Our GSD often chokes because he gets so many pieces in his mouth at one time then he chokes and they all fall to the floor. It would be great if Purina could make a Large Breed line with bigger pieces.

Love This Food

We have been feeding NeuroCare to our 2 seizure dogs for 7yrs. We started w/our older epileptic dog who lived w/grand mal seizures most of his life. Once we started NeuroCare along with his medication he never had another seizure. This allowed him to lead a long & happy life. As soon as our current dog started showing neurological symptoms we put him on NeuroCare. Once again, no more episodes. We are very pleased with this food.

My dog loves it

A Schultz

We just recently started our dog on this food after almost losing her due to severe neuro disease. She has been on this diet and meds while improving. She has never been a good eater and she loves this food and is always trying to get us to give her more.
