Purina makes the process of purchasing RX food super easy. I've tried several RX allergy foods for my cat and this is the only one he likes.

Probably works, but my cat would rather starve

Good value and a huge bag of food, but my food motivated cat refused to eat more than survival amounts. He lost 3 pounds over two months.

My cats love this kibble, and it's helped my kitty with skin allergies so much. It's also good for his sensitive stomach.

My cats absolutely devour this food! We have a cat with severe food allergies (and environmental allergies) he was on another prescription diet (not Purina) and it went on long term back order. Everything else he’s allergic to, so we switched to this and so far so good!

My senior cat is not a finicky eater, but he is a little leery of change. He loved the Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Diets HA Hydrolyzed Feline Formula from the start. He liked it so much it was hard to do the gradual change over because he picked out the HA and left the old food.

I had put my kitties on this food for one of them. The one had some allergies that made his lips and chin irritated and made him lose hair. Once iI got him on this food, everything was back to normal and hair was growing back within a week or so. Always love Purina and my kitties do as well!

Does the food cause diarrhea? i just stated the diet and my cat has diarrhea

  1. My cat has not had diarrhea from this food.

Is this safe for cats that have chicken allergies?

  1. Thanks for reaching out with this question. We see that the 4th ingredient on the list is hydrolyzed chicken liver, and the 7th ingredient is hydrolyzed chicken. For this reason we would say that this probably wouldn't be the best fit for your felines with a chicken allergy. We suggest double checking with your trusted veterinarian first. Thanks.
