Great product- Purina HA for sensitive to protein stomach.

My doggys vet prescribed this food for him because of stomach problems,and now he feels so much better.

The food was hard and did not agree with my dogs. It also gave them a soft stool. It was mixed with their regular food.

I bought this a week ago because my dog had a skin infection do from some food she ate. She likes it and had stopped licking her paws a lot less.

My dog was really sick and was throwing everything up every meal all 50 or more different foods. This food is the only thing that she can keep down without any stomach or bowel irritation. It is saving her life. Thank you

My Vet recommended this canned dog for their sensitive stomach, they got sick, loose stool, upset stomach and it made their allergies 10 times worse. Did not have a good experience, I hope Petco will accept a return.

My dog's veterinarian prescribed this food due to a bout of chronic vomiting. The good: his vomiting ceased the day I began feeding him this diet. He likes the food very much. The bad: While the vomiting did not return, at day 11 he began to experience diarrhea. Of all the gastrointestinal issues he has had over his life, diarrhea was never one of them. I've since learned that hydrolyzed diets can induce something called hypoosmotic diarrhea. When I began feeding him this diet the first things that happened is he began to poop more both in number and volume. This was not a bad sign as we were concerned about poor gut motility. What is unusual is that it does not bother him, he is not desperate to go outside and relieve himself or exhibiting signs of being uncomfortable. I now have to introduce a new food sooner than expected but I am thankful that at least it resolved the vomiting.
