Is Purina Proplan wet food ok for my cat, he has stage 2 kidney disease and pancreatitis?
Which dry food is best for an indoor, seven year old cat, low in calories?
Can you please recommend a diet for a cat with Feline pancreatitis, currently feeding Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Feline Sensitivity Control Wet food. He only eats wet food.
I brought my cat (4 YO black American short hair) to the vet a few months ago after she was scooting frequently and her glands were released. Our vet said she needed to be changed to a high fiber diet which we did immediately (Image attached below). This was in fact one of the ones the vet told us to buy. However, she now wants wet food and I have no clue what to give her. I read up on Merrick and am unsure which specifically to buy. Help! Please and thank you!
Hi I have a female cat, 4 yrs old who has been diagnosed with megacolon and has been constipated her whole life. She has received one enema under sedation and two water / lactulose enemas over the past month. Her appetite isn't the same, she used to eat a lot. She was prescribed with Hill's Diet W/D but refuses to eat it. What is the best cat food to manage her megacolon? I'm also giving her 2 ml of lactulose a day when she doesn't move her bowels. Any other suggestions to help her? Thank you!
13 y/o male cat with hyperthyroidism. Need recommendation for affordable dry cat food.
Lou has been on royal canin gastro intestinal low fat wet food for about 2 weeks bc he had stress colitis the vet said. His fecal and giardia were negative. Heโs been doing great on that food but transitioning him over has been tough. He either wonโt eat it w his food mixed in or he struggles to poop and itโs runnier. I planned on trying to transition to Purina pro plan this week hoping it will be better.
Our 1 1/2 year old female ragdoll feline started loosing patches of fur for last 2 weeks. No scabs/raw spots on skin. Vetinarian concludes not fleas or ringworm. No known environmental changes or new house products. Now starting Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein Adult HP for 2-3 weeks in case it's food allergies. It's $50 for 7.7 lbs. Is there a less expensive equivalent Purina or other brand?? Thanks from Florida.
My male cat is almost 14. I know he is starting kidney problems due to the extra water he drinks at this point. and a bit thinner. lots of energy still. I read they need at least 50% protein, I give him wet and dry which i know is not good, but lots of wet and freeze dried chicken too, vit with dig enzymes. Can you suggest the best Wet high protein food and anything else from Petco?
I feed my cat Hill's Prescription Diet k/d Early Support Chicken Canned Cat Food, and order it from chewy.com, but the are out of stock and vet doesn't carry it. She has only 10 cans left. Is there any other place to get this food quickly?
We want to switch our rescue dog's food. He is on ProPlan EN prescription food and we want to find a food that would be easy to switch and we could get at the store. He also needs to put on some weight, he is a black lab mix with hound but very skinny and currently being treated for heart worms.
Hello! I have a male cat thatโs about 17 years old and he is on a special diet of Purina Gastroenteric EN. He is not able to chew the dry food and seems to have trouble eating the wet food unless itโs really watered down. Is there something else I can add to the wet food instead of water that would nutritionally benefit my โold manโ?!
