My cats love this food. I started getting this for my older cat. But the others would leave him alone

All lifestages food for cats

I had a foster kitten with severe diarrhea. Was suggested to try en since it’s all lifestages. She did okay on the food but she didn’t eat it as readily as other canned food. The patte is drier than your average canned food.

Great food, but very expensive

This was recommended to me by an internal specialist for my mega colon cat. I was concerned because I’ve had pets not find Pro Plan palatable. But she loves it. It’s easy to mix in with water and miralax. It’s too expensive, but I don’t really have a choice.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Great GI-friendly diet, especially for older cats

My older girl has IBD and a picky appetite. The small kibble size makes it easy for her to eat this kibble, given that she has very few teeth! She eats this diet almost exclusively and seems to enjoy it. She's had no vomiting or diarrhea secondary to her IBD since switching her to this diet, along with FortiFlora Synbiotic.

Cat eats it without hesitation. Stools are good, but still a bit if vomiting. G

My Cancer Kitty Loved This Canned Food

My vet recommended Purina Pro Plan EN for my cancer kitty "Jasper" as he was having some complications and was experiencing some weight loss. Although it was difficult to get him to eat some of the canned food I tried - he really did like the EN food.

Poor shipping of product

Terrible packaging for delivery. Two cases of cans (48 cans) in a flimsy box with very little cushioning and the box was barely taped and was half open at delivery.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Calories/can EN GASTROENTERIC SOFT food for cats??

  1. 1023 kcal/kg (159 kcal/can) for the pate, 956 kcal/kg (149 kcal/can) for the chicken savory selecte

Please, Is it possible to obtain one can of a prescription food? My cat is finicky and I've already returned two other brands. I'm worried that the cost of returning a case will be nearly as high as the cost of the food.

May I return the product if the cat won't eat it?

    1. Great question! We recommend referring to the PETCO's policy for returns, which can be found here: https://www.petco.com/returns - The Pro Plan Team
