[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] my dog is usually on the purina one true instinct turkey and venison or purina one lamb and rice formulas (usually the true instinct). i have a rescue GSD that was starved and left for an unfortunate event; that said, i liked that this food specifically, has smaller pieces since my dog hogs down his food in 1-2mins WITH a slow feed bowl... (he doesn't chew his food and he tends to choke on his food quite often.) i got a coupon for a small bag of the pro plan food and didn't see anything at the store that was turkey based like the true instinct food he's on so i got this lamb option since i know he is safe consuming lamb (intolerant to chicken).
