I bought this product for my 8 year old Boykin Spaniel. She is very active, but has a sensitive stomach, so I thought I would try this food. I store dog food in sealed plastic containers when I receive them, that being said after two weeks I noticed flying bugs and eggs in the food. I stopped feeding her this food. I called Petco for a replacement right away. The replacement arrived and that bag had bugs too! I asked for a refund and have decided to try another flavor of food for her.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Been using for about five years Gidget my little girl (dog). Gidget weighted 14 lbs she now weights 9.1lbs. Worked great for her.

My dog has a very sensitive tummy and it’s hard for him to like a new food. He usually would just ignore anything that we put into his bowl. Unfortunately, this did not sit well with him. We added 1/4 scoop of this to his food to just try it out and he was able to pick some out from his bowl because he could tell that it wasn’t his typical food. I really think my dog is just being picky with his food. The quality of the ingredient seems to be good and probably good for him, but I have been trying for about 3 weeks now and he really doesn’t like it. I did gave this to a friend and her dog loves it so it! So don’t he discourage by this negative part. Her dog was hooked on this and she said it actually made her good more active with more energy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lucky Dog seemed to really enjoy this food. She seemed excited every time I fed it to her. She ate it about as quickly as she eats any other dry dog food. It seemed to help with some of her mobility and digestion issues. It also seemed to give her more energy. I would definitely recommend this and buy this again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog seemed to enjoy this food. I like that it has cleaner ingredients with chicken being the first ingredient. I also like that it has glucosamine to help with joint health and mobility as my dog has had joint problems in the past. This food is tailored toward older but active dogs and has a lot of added supplements which I appreciate. It seems like a healthier option compared to other foods. My dog gobbled it up and I even caught my cat taking a few bites so it must be good!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been feeding our dog the same food for quite some time, so I wasn't too sure about how mixing this one in would go, but she enjoyed it as if it was the same as always. Similarly sized smallish kibble which is nice because our dog has some broken teeth from before we rescued her so eating smaller bites is a must. Overall I believe she enjoyed it and it's good to know there is a lower priced option for her now!
