We recommend that you keep your dog in ideal body condition and not allow your dog to become overweight. The exact amount of food your dog requires will need to be adjusted according to age, activity and environment. But a good place to start is with these guidelines for an average, active, adult dog fed once daily. MAKING THE SWITCH TO PRO PLAN: Although you'll be anxious to see the difference Pro Plan can make in your dog, please allow 7 - 10 days to ease the transition from your dog's current food. Each day, simply feed a little less of the previous food and a little more Pro Plan until you're feeding Pro Plan exclusively. This gradual transition will help avoid dietary upsets.Contains a source of live (viable) naturally occurring microorganisms. Provide adequate fresh water in a clean container daily. For your pet's health, see your veterinarian regularly.

Is Purina pro plan a good food for French bulldogs? Lou is on royan canin gastrointestinal low fat after a case of colitis. It’s time to transition him to something else and I’m looking to change his food. He would only eat pure balance wet food after his ivdd surgery but I don’t think it’s the best and it’s sometimes hard to find. Any advice
Lou has been on royal canin gastro intestinal low fat wet food for about 2 weeks bc he had stress colitis the vet said. His fecal and giardia were negative. He’s been doing great on that food but transitioning him over has been tough. He either won’t eat it w his food mixed in or he struggles to poop and it’s runnier. I planned on trying to transition to Purina pro plan this week hoping it will be better.
I am going to switch my puppy to Purina pro plan savor puppy food is it a good food for him?
My two year old black lab has a very sensitive stomach & terrible skin allergies. He is currently eating Taste of the Wild Pacific Stream. I don’t believe this is working for him because he has terrible gas, frequent itching & licking despite taking an allergy medication, & very loose stool. I’ve been told to switch him to a limited ingredient diet, but I don’t know what brand to use. I am also concerned about peas/lentils can affect a dog’s heart.
Hi, what is the best puppy food for my 5-month-old puppy? He seems to have a sensitive stomach. Had mild diarrhea almost constantly with Diamond puppy food and then we switched to Taste of the Wild he vomited and horrible diarrhea. We went to chicken and rice, was great with firm poops, now we are transitioning to Wellness puppy chicken, and diarrhea is starting again.
Hi! I am considering changing Addy’s food over to Taste of the Wild High Prairee puppy food. It’s grain free and has lean proteins and a 28% protein content. Currently she is on Blue Buffalo large breed puppy food that has whole grains. She is experience soft stool in the evening. I believe this may be from her food? Blue Buffalo is chicken based, and she does drink lots of water. She just had a vet appt, no presence of parasites in her stool. Any recommendations?
Our 10 month old lab, staffordshire mix scratches and chews on herself. The vet recommended switching her food to Pro Plan Sensitive which we are doing right now by blending her food. I am wondering if there is any other supplement or vitamin that we should try.
My dog has been diagnosed with food allergies since he was a puppy. The vet told me which foods it probably would be and had me put him on Purina pro plan sensitive skin. It worked and he stopped itching, but a couple weeks ago he refused to eat his food and started having diarrhea, he would eat the other dogs food, but not his own. So we switched to blue and I made sure it didn’t have the possible things he could be allergic to in if, but he’s starting to itch again. What would you suggest i do
I have a 5 year old, 75lb Catahoula leopard mix. He doesn't seem to like any dog food. Ever since he had a liver issue a year ago, he's been weird with eating. Before he would gulp his food down. He also seems to have a sensitive stomach now. I've tried merrick LI with goats milk and crumpled treats on top. It worked at first very well but now he doesn't want it. I've tried a different, more palatable, Elm in 3 flavors-lamb duck and salmon. Doesn't want any of them. Warm water doesn't work ether
I have a 3 year old black lab, she is 80lbs and in great health. But she is having a hard time with her GI track she has been seen by 3 different vets all put her on a antibiotic and 2 put her on a probiotic packet all seamed to help but once she is not taking them she has runny stools yet again. Her food is Costco hard food organic with probiotic in it
What would be the best wet dog food for her weighing 3.3 lbs. 4 years and has Periodontal desease? And can I purchase at Petco or Petsmart? Thank you
My puppy recently needed his anal glands expressed. I had him on grain free diet for a few months. But was recommended to switch him back to regular high fiber dog food. Looking for a high quality dog food without by products in it for my pup. What are some dry food brands you recommend? Besides Purina. Is blue buffalo, holistic select good? More suggestions. Thanks!
