Feel free to mail your original purchase receipt with the price circled, a brief explanation of why you were dissatisfied with our products, the "Best If Used By" date box from the package, along with your name and street address (P.O. We recommend that you keep your dog in ideal body condition and not allow your dog to become overweight. The exact amount of food your dog requires will need to be adjusted according to age, activity and environment. But a good place to start is with these guidelines for an average, active, adult dog fed once daily. MAKING THE SWITCH TO PRO PLAN Although you'll be anxious to see the difference Pro Plan can make in your dog, please allow 7 - 10 days to ease the transition from your dog's current food. Each day, simply feed a little less of the previous food and a little more Pro Plan until you're feeding Pro Plan exclusively. This gradual transition will help avoid dietary upsets. Contains a source of live (viable) naturally occurring microorganisms. Provide adequate fresh water in a clean container daily. For your pet's health, see your veterinarian regularly.

Amazing stuff

I rescued a Dutch shepherd dog who could literally not make a solid poop for months, having diarrhea 2-3 times a day and constant runny poops. She used to get violent stomach aches you could hear across a room and roll around and whine. I genuinely thought she'd have to go on some insane restrictive diet. My poor girl was on and off different purina and non purina foods til we landed on this one. She now poops twice a day nice and solid and hardly has any more tummy aches anymore. What I love love love about this diet was that it was not only safe for her stomach but she looks so beautiful and healthy on it. Her coat is short but very shiny and thick, and you can see she has very nice muscling and with all the stuff she gets out of this food she can still be very active. This food so worth the price of my happy baby.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dogs absolutely LOVE this food! They drool every time I go to feed them and their tummies and skin are amazing! This is the only food our Great Dane absolutely loves and helped with his skin and put on weight. Definitely the best dog food there is!

Pup likes it but

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog seems to like this food when he’s not fixated on stealing any human food in sight, but he still is having skin issues which I thought was related to a chicken sensitivity but now I guess it wasn’t. Since I don’t know for sure what is causing the skin issues, I don’t want to blame the food with 100% certainty but I also can’t think of what could be causing it (other than his love of dumpster diving for scraps.) He does seem to like the food which is good because there has been kibble he was picky with. I personally can’t stand the smell of it though after he eats. As in the smell on him

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s ok, my dog isn’t the biggest fan of this kind. He prefers the lamb and oatmeal to the salmon and rice formula

Can small breads eat this too? I have a very large breed and a chihuahua as well & would like to give them the same food.

What is the difference between large breed pro plan sensitive stomach vs regular sensitive stomach salmon and rice?

    1. It looks like Purina Pro changed the salmon and rice formula recently and took out the probiotic. So if your dog needs that (which most itchy dogs do) you need to buy the pricier stuff for now. The Large Breed sensitive stomach product contains probiotic.

This food would be perfect if only it didn't have beef fat in it. My Golden is allergic to that so I don't think I can risk trying this food. Any chance you have a chicken free formula that has no beef fat in it?

    1. Thanks for asking. We would be more than happy to help. In order to best assist you, we'd like to learn more about your experience. When you have a chance, please give us a call at 1- 877-982-4357. We're available seven days a week from 8AM - 5PM CST. – The Pro Plan Team
