Purina guarantees outstanding quality and taste. If for any reason you're not satisfied, simply let Purina know why. Feel free to mail your original purchase receipt with the price circled, a brief explanation of why you were dissatisfied with our products, the "Best If Used By" date box from the package, along with your name and street address (P.O. Using a standard 8 oz/250 ml measuring cup which contains approximately 113 g of Pro Plan. We recommend that you keep your dog in ideal body condition and not allow your dog to become overweight. The exact amount of food your dog requires will need to be adjusted according to age, activity and environment. But a good place to start is with these guidelines for an average, active, adult dog fed once daily. MAKING THE SWITCH TO PRO PLAN Although you'll be anxious to see the difference Pro Plan can make in your dog, please allow 7 - 10 days to ease the transition from your dog's current food. Each day, simply feed a little less of the previous food and a little more Pro Plan until you're feeding Pro Plan exclusively. This gradual transition will help avoid dietary upsets. Provide adequate fresh water in a clean container daily. For your pet's health, see your veterinarian regularly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Made the switch to get away from corn and chicken. Vet recommended this from a recent visit. Dog ate it right away. Time will tell us if it’s helpful for him.

Best food for sensitive stomachs!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have an 11 year old Brittany who has been eating the Turkey and oatmeal sensitive skin and stomach for about 7 years now. It’s the only food that keeps his stomach normal. We tried several different foods before this one, and the results were amazing! His stools are solid and his coat is very shiny. And for an 11 year old he’s very energetic. We have 3 dogs and feed nothing but Pro Plan.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog really loves this food and it seems to really help with her skin and fur. On other foods, she gets really greasy and has ear issues, but not on this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My lab was having major issues with losing her hair and scratching constantly, ear infections. I tried so many medicines and shampoos and nothing helped, she had to have shots that would only last about 2 weeks. Since changing her diet, to the purina sensitive skin and stomach turkey and oatmeal dog food for the past couple of months, she does not scratch as much her hair is back and ears are better. I'm just holding hope it continues. Thank you purina!!

Questions

1 - 2 of 2 Questions

Why doesn’t the turkey with oatmeal have taurine in it ,

  1. From the Purina Pro Plan Chat: Thank you for waiting. Taurine an amino acid. In normal, healthy dogs receiving a diet that is 100% complete and balanced diet, it is a nonessential amino acid that the body can produce in sufficient amounts from other nutrients and metabolites and does not need to be supplied in the diet.

Two question RE: Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin & Stomach, Turkey & Oat Meal Formula Adult Dry Dog Food: (1) Is this one of the new ProPlan formulations? 2. Not being a top-seller, what is typically the expected expiration date?

  1. Thanks so much for asking! Our Turkey & Oatmeal formula is new for 2021. Also, please know that our dry food recipes have a 18 month shelf life. We hope this helps! - The Purina Pro Plan Team
