Purina guarantees outstanding quality and taste. If for any reason you're not satisfied, simply let Purina know why. Or, feel free to mail your original purchase receipt with the price circled, a brief explanation of why you were dissatisfied with our products, the "Best If Used By" date box from the package, along with your name and street address (P.O. Box not accepted) to: Purina, Consumer Services, PO Box 340, Neenah WI 54957.

We recommend that you keep your dog in ideal body condition and not allow your dog to become overweight. The exact amount of food your dog requires will need to be adjusted according to age, activity and environment. But a good place to start is with these guidelines for an average, active, adult dog fed once daily. MAKING THE SWITCH TO PRO PLAN Although you'll be anxious to see the difference Pro Plan can make in your dog, please allow 7 - 10 days to ease the transition from your dog's current food. Each day, simply feed a little less of the previous food and a little more Pro Plan until you're feeding Pro Plan exclusively. This gradual transition will help avoid dietary upsets. Contains a source of live (viable) naturally occurring microorganisms. Provide adequate fresh water in a clean container daily. For your pet's health, see your veterinarian regularly.

Purina Pro Plan Weight Management c

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have used Purina products, faithfully, for many years. Though we originally wanted to be on puppy food for a full two years, we attempted to transition one of our dogs from puppy pro plan chicken and rice, to a weight management chicken and rice - per our vet's advice. I was surprised to find, even with a gradual transition, my girl would not eat the bowl of food once we hit 100% of this new food. She would cry at her bowl and attempt to knock it over/push it away/bury it. We have decided to transition back to the puppy food for now We will feed her a lesser amount of the puppy food morning and night to help keep her weight appropriate. We will try again with another formula of Pro Plan adult in a few months. Otherwise, we love Purina! Our girl just did not agree with this blend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our pup enjoys his food - no need to entice it with anything. Not always carried at our local store though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As with any food, tolerance varies according to the dog: there are reported cases of dogs with sensitive stomachs that react badly after the change.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Has a lower fat content than the standard food which has been helping a lot with weight management. The larger kibble size is also excellent.
