We recommend that you keep your dog in ideal body condition and not allow your dog to become overweight. The exact amount of food your dog requires will need to be adjusted according to age, activity and environment. I have a 11 year old lab. He weighs 135 lbs, he is big for his size bone wise and very tall. Doctor wants him to lose 10-15 lbs, since he is starting to have bad knees, and his joints are bothering him. Would this food be best for him?
