We recommend that you keep your dog in ideal body condition and not allow your dog to become overweight. The exact amount of food your dog requires will need to be adjusted according to age, activity and environment. Has anyone received odd shaped kibble in this dog food? It’s my first time purchasing for my golden and some of the kibble is weirdly shaped but i am not sure if that is normal for this brand? Thank you
- Most all pieces have a similar square shape unless partially broken. I'm not sure what "odd or weirdly shaped" refers to but my twelve-year-old chocolate Lab loves it and has nothing else for the last 2 1/2 years. You should see good results soon if you follow the feeding recommendations on the bag. Hope this helps!

What is the measured amount per day of dry focus Weight Management formula for a 90 lb. lab that needs to lose 10 pounds?
- My black lab was 85 lbs and needed to get down to 70-72 lbs. I switched her to this food from the Purina Sport since it has lowest kcal per cup. For weight loss, our vet had us feed her 906 kcal per day until she hit her goal weight. Then she went to 1511 kcal per day to maintain that weight. Your vet should be able to help with the proper kcal count for your dog, good luck!
