Has anyone received odd shaped kibble in this dog food? It’s my first time purchasing for my golden and some of the kibble is weirdly shaped but i am not sure if that is normal for this brand? Thank you
- Most all pieces have a similar square shape unless partially broken. I'm not sure what "odd or weirdly shaped" refers to but my twelve-year-old chocolate Lab loves it and has nothing else for the last 2 1/2 years. You should see good results soon if you follow the feeding recommendations on the bag. Hope this helps!

What is the measured amount per day of dry focus Weight Management formula for a 90 lb. lab that needs to lose 10 pounds?
- My black lab was 85 lbs and needed to get down to 70-72 lbs. I switched her to this food from the Purina Sport since it has lowest kcal per cup. For weight loss, our vet had us feed her 906 kcal per day until she hit her goal weight. Then she went to 1511 kcal per day to maintain that weight. Your vet should be able to help with the proper kcal count for your dog, good luck!

Hi there. I was thinking about switching my cat to a better quality food. I know the first at least 3 ingredients should be chicken, chicken meal etc vs corn or grains. My cat is 20lbs. Vet told me he should be 16lbs & be on a low fat diet. I don't think his purina pro plan weight mgmt is helping anymore. Fat is 12.5% max in that food. But other foods have more fat. I wonder if a grain free diet would help keep him full longer? How many calories/cups a day he should eat? Worried about weightgain
Scrappy has been eating Purina Pro Plan Simply Fit, eating 1/2C, twice a day. He started at 22 pounds and kept that on for 4 weeks, today, he has lost 3 pounds at the end of his 5th week. He does not look as if he lost, but he looks more like a dog that has been lifting weights and related to a Boxer. He is a mix poodle/cocker. Is it too much protein, should I continue and give him less, he is a good eater and always hungry. I have a tough time with those "I'm hungry Mom" looks. Thank you.

My (very tall and muscular!!) Miniature Schnauzer needs to lose about 3 pounds. Prescription Royal Canin didn't carry enough sustanance for him, so he was constantly hungry. Hi! Wally eats Proplan Focus puppy chicken & rice and his feces are very soft almost diarrhea. The food is for all breeds (toy to giant) 4 days ago I'm mixing it up with rice in every meal and the feces are much better. My question is: could be the % fat of the meal? He eats 210 grams a day. I have two dogs that I am feeing Purina Pro Plan right now - and I know it's not the best for them so my husband and I are thinking about changing their food. Benny (the bigger one) has gained a little bit of weight but now much. He's almost 2. Cash is 8 months and smaller - seems to be holding up in size.
