I agree I just received two boxes of this 12 and each and I'm very disappointed not only the smell which most dog food is hard to tolerate the smell for a human anyways however there is dog food out there that is way better and seems better quality honestly it had a green tint to the sides of it I'm kind of wondering if it was even any good the date on it is fine I don't think I would get old food sent to me however it makes you wonder when the food is one color like rummy and then the rest of it has a green tint or grayish tent around the sides of it like air got to it or something I don't know it seems to be sealed tight but again it's probably just the quality of the food I'm very disappointed and my dogs they are not shy to eat wet food they love wet food even the cheapest food which I don't like to buy yet they will eat it however this one they both would not eat I even put cheese on it like I do to entice them sometimes and they still sniffed it as if it was rancid the only time they don't really eat certain things is when is rancid so again I would not recommend this food and I have a lot of it I'm going to try to sell it on off her up but the sucky thing is is I don't want to lie to people and tell him it's a good food LOL so I have to sell it for literally dirt cheap or even give it away to donate to someone I don't know but again I would not suggest this food at all. They're disappointed in Purina. I guess maybe my expectations were a little too high I'm not sure but I'll never purchase anything else from them. Sad to say. December

I add this to my 15 year old rat terrier’s purina pro plan dry food. She was getting tired of just the dry food, but now with this added in, she can’t wait to eat!

This is the first time I purchased the chicken entree from Purina Pro Plan. When I opened their container to smell the food, it smelled very unpleasant. It reminded me of a poop smell. I’m not sure if maybe my smell is off but my dogs were not drawn to the food. I had to add a little whip cream on top to make them even get near it. Sadly, I’m going to return the extra unopened food containers. I’m really disappointed with my purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m only going by my dogs reaction but she went absolutely crazy for this food. She gobbled it up within seconds, we don’t give her wet food too often but I will definitely buy more because she seems to love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I served this to my Maltipoo dog Molly. She is normally a picky eater and will give something a sniff and turn her nose up to it. I was surprised when I opened the package and gave her half the container and she ate it right up. In the end she ate the entire container in one setting. It agreed with her system, she didn't have any adverse reactions to the change in food like loose stool/ constipation. She now eats Purina Pro Plan FOCUS adult food daily.So she is one happy dog

I've already bought more to add to his diet because he loved it so much! I think it offers good nutrition for him and would recommend to others!
