Purina guarantees outstanding quality and taste. If for any reason you're not satisfied, simply let Purina know why. Feel free to mail your original purchase receipt with the price circled, a brief explanation of why you were dissatisfied with our products, the "Best If Used By" date box from the package, along with your name and street address (P.O. We recommend that you keep your dog in ideal body condition and not allow your dog to become overweight. The exact amount of food your dog requires will need to be adjusted according to age, activity and environment. But a good place to start is with these guidelines for an average, active, adult dog fed once daily. MAKING THE SWITCH TO PRO PLAN Although you'll be anxious to see the difference Pro Plan can make in your dog, please allow 7 - 10 days to ease the transition from your dog's current food. Each day, simply feed a little less of the previous food and a little more Pro Plan until you're feeding Pro Plan exclusively. This gradual transition will help avoid dietary upsets. Contains a source of live (viable) naturally occurring microorganisms. Provide adequate fresh water in a clean container daily. For your pet's health, see your veterinarian regularly.

Saw improvements right away!

My dog has sensitive skin and gets quite itchy so we decided to cut out well known irritants by switching to this food. The improvements were noticeable immediately. Only giving 4 stars because the food smells pretty bad (very fishy and stinky) but surprisingly my dog doesn’t seem to like it as much as his old chicken and rice blend.

If you love your senior dog - do not buy this food

limmonz

Do not buy this for your senior dog with stomach sensitivities. Our vet recommended this food instead of our dog’s usual prescription diet, and I trusted that advice. Within just 3-4 hours of eating it, my 13-year-old companion began to bloat, which led to her stomach twisting (GDV)—a fatal condition. We were unable to save her. It was the most devastating experience of my life. Since then, I’ve read countless similar reviews and personally know others who had serious issues after feeding this food. I now question why veterinarians are recommending it and why it’s still being sold. This product is dangerous and should be taken off shelves immediately. Please trust your instincts and research deeply before giving this to your dog. I wish I had.

is this dog food made in the USA with American ingredients

Can I feed this to my 11 pound Cavalier King Charles dog? He just turned 1 and I'm looking to switch him to adult food from puppy. I see the other one which is for `small breeds` but it only has a 16lb max size.

      1. I have fed this to my puppies with great success. You may want to start out with 75% of what your baby is eating to 25 % of the new food for one week. The second week I do 50/50. The third week I go 75/25. After the end of the 4th week, I go 100% with the new food. I am always concerned about changing their food too quickly for I do not want to upset their stomachs.

      How many calories per cup?

How much copper is in this food?

Where is the "salmon meal" harvested from? And how is it harvested/farmed?

          1. try purina.com

How do I cancel my repeat delivery?

What is the source of the natural flavor?

            1. Thank you for your interest in Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin & Stomach with Probiotics Salmon & Rice Formula Dry Dog Food, we're happy to help you out. We're sorry for the delay in our response. The natural flavor in this formula is pork. Please feel free to reach out to us directly with any other questions or concerns at 800-776-7526 (800-PROPLAN). We're available Monday through Saturday from 8 AM – 5 PM CST. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We look forward to speaking with you soon. - The Pro Plan Team

Hello , I cannot find the expiration or use by date on this bag of dog food . There is another bag available but I need the expiration or use by date on the bags please. It’s not listed in the add and I don’t see in the pictures Thank you

            1. The expiration date is located on the back of the dog food bag. I was unable to post a picture of this but there is a blue area located below the UPC code that displays the Best By date.

How much omega 3 and 6 are in this? Only giving a min % isn't the same as how many mg in each serving.

            1. Don't have the answer, maybe try the 1-800-776-7526 to ProPlan can help? This is working well for my dogs, we mix it in with the hard kibble for now.
