What kind of liver was added to this? That's extremely important to know. This has previously been the only canned dog food my Keeshond can tolerate and it looks like Purina added one of his number one allergens to nearly the top of the formula??

    Calorie count please?!

    1. Thanks for reaching out to us! We've found the calorie count for this entree. Please know that a 13 oz. can contains 452 calories. Feel free to check out more information on your dog's favorite wet food entrees here: https://www.purina.com/pro-plan/dogs/dog-food or give us a call at 800-776-7526 (800-PROPLAN). We're available 7 days a week from 8 AM – 5 PM CST. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We look forward to speaking with you soon. - The Pro Plan Team.

Why is there no calorie count on the can? Is this made in the USA?

    1. Actually you need to research this.  I know most of the food is made in US.  My Standard Poodle has been on this food and it does seem to help his stomach problems  But you need to research and just cause it helps some dogs doesn’t mean it helps ALL dogs.  Every dog is different  So like myself I had to try different foods.  And I found mixing other can foods for sensitive stomachs with Purina has been ok

Where do the ingredients come from.  Hopefully the USA!

Is this okay to feed a 10 month old Golden Retriever?

      1. I would check with my vet first to see if it still needs to be on puppy food but this is a great adult food!

Is this ok for a senior dog over 7 years old. 2 of my dogs are approaching 7 years and one is over 9 years old.

      1. I can only say that several years ago when our two goldendoodles were only a couple years old and having regular ear infections our vet specified this product, both canned and dry, and we have been feeding ever since, probably five or six years now, and they have never had another ear infection or any skin problems, and they have both been perfect weights with beautiful coats. They love the food, and we won’t feed them anything else. They do get small size Milk Bones several times a day as treats. They also get good exercise every day. They are about 70 pounds each, and each gets a cup of dry and a half can twice each day,

I have an 8 To 10 Pound Dog. How much should I feed her?

      1. Great question! For an 8-10 pound dog we recommend feeding 1 can.The exact amount your dog requires will vary according to age, activity and environment. Adjust as needed to maintain your dog in ideal body condition. - The Pro Plan Team
