RECOMMENDED DAILY FEEDING AMOUNTS: We recommend that you keep your dog in ideal body condition and not allow your dog to become overweight. The exact amount of food your dog requires will need to be adjusted according to age, activity and environment. But a good place to start is with these guidelines for an average, active, adult dog fed once daily. MAKING THE SWITCH TO PRO PLAN: Although you'll be anxious to see the difference Pro Plan can make in your dog, please allow 7 - 10 days to ease the transition from your dog's current food. Each day, simply feed a little less of the previous food and a little more Pro Plan until you're feeding Pro Plan exclusively. This gradual transition will help avoid dietary upsets. Contains a source of live (viable) naturally occurring microorganisms. Provide adequate fresh water in a clean container daily. For your pet's health, see your veterinarian regularly.

Is Purina pro plan a good food for French bulldogs? Lou is on royan canin gastrointestinal low fat after a case of colitis. It’s time to transition him to something else and I’m looking to change his food. He would only eat pure balance wet food after his ivdd surgery but I don’t think it’s the best and it’s sometimes hard to find. Any advice
Looking for a recommendation for a good quality senior dog food that will support weight gain and healthy digestion
I have two dogs that I am feeing Purina Pro Plan right now - and I know it's not the best for them so my husband and I are thinking about changing their food. Benny (the bigger one) has gained a little bit of weight but now much. He's almost 2. Cash is 8 months and smaller - seems to be holding up in size. I want to feed them the same thing and I wanted to do a NON grain-free food because I am worried about the studies saying it could cause heart issues. What food would you recommend?
I've been giving chicken and rice to my puppy.... As her growth was slow,i changed her food suddenly to purina pro plan! I have 150 grams at night and 150 grams in morning... She's having diarrhea, she's dull... Will she get back to normal?
I have a 14 week old 17 pound Catahoula that has been dewormed and clean bill of health. He's eating 1 cup of Pro Plan Large Breed Puppy 3 times a day along with training treats throughout the day, yet always seems hungry. Am I giving him enough?
After months of IBD and diarrhea, we switched jack to Royal Canin KO formula. All poop issues 100% resolved, but then the vomiting started. Always bile. Omeprazole and Pepcid have been unsuccessful. Since it started when we started the KO, I assume it’s related but I’m nervous to switch lest poop problems come back. Looking for novel protein, with grain, with no peas/potatoes/chickpeas/lentils. Would you recommend Purina Pro Plan Focus Adult Sensitive Skin & Stomach Salmon & Rice Formula Dry ?
I want to be sure that my 1 year old Parson Russell Terrier is getting the best food. He has skin sensitivity. My vet prescribed Royal Canin Skin Sensitivity. It costs a fortune. A friend who works for a vet told me that her dog( who also has skin sensitivity) was prescribed Purina Pro Plan.. It also doesn’t list grains on the Royal Canin. I want to make sure it isn’t grain free. My last dog died from cardiomyopathy and CHF at 7 years old. Advice Please??
