I don't understand how this could be a great dog food when it contains so much corn. Could someone enlighten me as to the nutritional benefits of Corn Gluten Meal and Whole Grain Corn? It looks like an inexpensive filler to me.
- Corn provides fiber and protein. The only reason you think it’s a cheap filler is because the marketing from designer brands that do not have nutritionists on staff worked on you.

Hi I need to buy puppy food for a 2 month old German Shepherd/Boxer, What is the difference between Pro Plan and Pro Plan
The feeding guidelines seem to be a little low for a large breed puppy given some other brands (Nutro Max for example), recommends atleast twice the amount Purina is recommending. Please advise on how this transition effects the puppy. Thanks!
- I wouldnt think it would affect them as much (it depends on your pup) i had to switch mine when she was like 4months old, and they sell excellent food transitioning products that you put on top of their food which makes the process easier. I eventually switched my great pyreness to authority.
