Making the Switch to Pro Plan Although you'll be anxious to see the difference Pro Plan can make in your cat, please allow 7-10 days to ease the transition from your cat's current food. Each day, simply feed a little less of the previous food and a little more Pro Plan until you're feeding Pro Plan exclusively. This gradual transition will help avoid dietary upsets. For your pet's health, see your veterinarian regularly. Provide adequate fresh water in a clean container daily. Feeding for Adult Maintenance It is important that you feed Pro Plan to your adult cat "free choice" throughout the day, rather than as just a single feeding only at mealtime. Food intake required to maintain ideal body condition will vary, depending on age, activity and environment. Watch your cat's weight and adjust food amounts accordingly. If you have a kitten, or a pregnant or nursing cat, you should continue feeding Pro Plan Focus Kitten Chicken & Rice Formula. Store in a cool, dry place.

Which dry food is best for an indoor, seven year old cat, low in calories?
Is Purina Proplan wet food ok for my cat, he has stage 2 kidney disease and pancreatitis?
What should I look for when buying cat food? Blossom likes wet but she occasionally throws up ( especially if it's in gravy or sauce) and Kenwood likes dry but will also eat Blossom's food if available. Right now Blossom is eating Purina Pro Plan and Kenwood is eating Fancy Feast Filet Mignon and w/ seafood and shrimp. Both are inside cats with little to moderate activity . Blossom is 9 years old and Kenwood is 3 1/2. Kenwood is a big black cat and slightly overweight while Blossom is small.
I have 10 rescue cats, all ages from 2 months to age 4. I have been feeding them Purina one wet/dry mix daily. I however feel that the cats over 1 year should be eating kibble for urinary health to keep them from getting urinary tract infections. Is that a good option you would recommmend for their daily food? Is Purina honestly a decent and healthy brand? I want what is healthy for my cats but of course cost worthy too. Thank you.
My cat is on royal cain so urinary tract food, he had crystals in his urine a couple of months ago. He is not eatting the wet food, but is eatting the dry, i like to give them both. Can i replace the wet with pro plan focus urinary tract heath? Theyhave 4 kinds of cat food, instead of one kind.
Nutro, Blue Buffalo, Wellness, Taste of the Wild or Rachel Ray Nutrish for dry cat food? Cat has no known allergies or health conditions. Open to other recommendations. Want high quality and natural food that is healthy
Best inexpensive boxer dry dog food
I have a 4 month old foster kitten at home, any recommendations of kibbles that i can buy on amazon?
What's the best dry indoor food for kittens?
Hi there. I was thinking about switching my cat to a better quality food. I know the first at least 3 ingredients should be chicken, chicken meal etc vs corn or grains. My cat is 20lbs. Vet told me he should be 16lbs & be on a low fat diet. I don't think his purina pro plan weight mgmt is helping anymore. Fat is 12.5% max in that food. But other foods have more fat. I wonder if a grain free diet would help keep him full longer? How many calories/cups a day he should eat? Worried about weightgain
In a ideal wet cat food for an indoor cat how much carbs n how much protein ? Also is dried egg product good as an ingredient? Thank you
We have 1 1/2yr old Ragdoll female. At a steady 8.6 pounds/small frame. Area in front of back legs seems a little skinny. A couple of internet sites seems to suggest IAMS Proactive Health, Healthy Kittens is ok for adults to gain weight in view of it's extra protein and fat. Is that ok for 8.6 lb female.
