- Have you consulted with a breeder or vet? A vet will usually recommend a ridiculously expensive brand, but it’s worth asking. Try google or best reviews.com. We have a 9 yr old Labrador with cancer and it has kept him at a healthy weight google best diabetic dog foods. Hope this helps. All the best to you.

Are all of the ingredients from the USA? The package only states the food is crafted in the USA, not from what country the ingredients are from.
- That's a great question. I buy Purina dog food because all of their food is not only made in the USA, but it is sourced here as well. I will say that Purina makes 2 chicken dog TREATS that are sourced in China. That's because chicken breast meat is considered byproduct in China, so it's super cheap. But all their wet and dry food has ingredients from here. They have a huge supervisory board that inspects everything from start to finish. It's a trustworthy company in my opinion.

I am looking for an adult dog kibble that is larger than most I have found. How big are the kibbles in this product?

BEST DOG FOOD FOR LOSEING WEIGHT
My terrier mix (DNA pic attached) turns 1 today (estimated birth date-she's a rescue). I feed her Hills Science Diet large breed puppy formula-I would like to transition her to a new food. She is mildly overweight in which she is active but her hips are probably not as defined as they should be. She currently weighs 68Ibs. I would like to transition her to Taste of the Wild Salmon. She goes on x4 25 min walks a day. Is this a good food to help her maintain a healthy weight and be active? Thanks!

Scrappy has been eating Purina Pro Plan Simply Fit, eating 1/2C, twice a day. He started at 22 pounds and kept that on for 4 weeks, today, he has lost 3 pounds at the end of his 5th week. He does not look as if he lost, but he looks more like a dog that has been lifting weights and related to a Boxer. He is a mix poodle/cocker. My (very tall and muscular!!) Miniature Schnauzer needs to lose about 3 pounds. Prescription Royal Canin didn't carry enough sustanance for him, so he was constantly hungry. I got him on ProPlan weight control kibble, but I'm always concerned with his micronutrients. He got a bought of pancreatitis once, so crude fat must be low. How do you feel about these fresh dog foods? Better than kibble? Or not, so due to the moisture percentage?

Hey there, I’m currently feeding my golden retriever 80 lbs, healthy weight salmon performatrin ultra with 376 cals per cup. Would it benefit me to switch her over to Royal Canin golden formula as it has 276 cals per cup!
My vet told me I needed to feed my puppy a large breed puppy food still with a 30% protein level. I can only find a brand that goes up to 29% and another brand that was 28%. What can I supplement to add the remaining 1% into his diet? The brand I'm looking at is Eukanuba which is the 29%, and the Purina One is the lower one
Best inexpensive boxer dry dog food
We want to switch our rescue dog's food. He is on ProPlan EN prescription food and we want to find a food that would be easy to switch and we could get at the store. He also needs to put on some weight, he is a black lab mix with hound but very skinny and currently being treated for heart worms.
