I recently purchased a memory foam mattress topper that is CertiPUR-US certified. This means that it contains VOC’s that are less than 0.5 parts per million which is the safe range for humans. However, I am wondering if this is also a safe range for dogs as my dog sleeps on my bed each night. The company claims that they also do not use dangerous chemicals in their foam and I know that some dog beds are regulated by CertiPUR-US as well. I want to be sure that this memory foam will not harm Timo.
Why does my dog chew up his beds? What would be the best bed for an aging dog?
My French bulldog has thrown up a large amount 5 times., decreasing amount each time he vomits. At first The vomit was thick but brown and smooth, almost creamy at first. Now it is white and like very thick foam. He is panting, but not very heavy. He is preferring to lay on the cold tile. There is no blood in his vomit or stool, and nothing foreign in the vomit. He seems very uncomfortable laying on the furniture, but doesn't mind the floor. I have pressed His abdomen and it didn't bother him.
My pet has torn all his beds and now sleeps on a blanket or a bedsheet. I hope that won't cause any joint problems in the long run? It seems that he is comfortable sleeping this way. Is it safe?
