What is best flea treatment for cats I have long haired cat and she has scratched till she has raw spot behind ear
What would you recommend for the kittens under 5 lbs. And mom which is 8 months old for fleas then cause that's what the vet sold me for the kittens and mom
Hi there! I have two cats, one is about five pounds and my othet older one is 7 pounds. I was wondering if it was safe, and if it could be effective, to use a topical flea medication for my 7 pound cat that states in the box is meant for a 5 pound or less cat? I was assuming that since it is a less dosage it would be safe and maybe still effective. But I’m still not sure and don’t want to just assume. The brand is “Sentry Purrscriptions Plus.” Thanks!
Which of the two dewormers is better for a 10 months old British short hair? Thank you so much!
What are the best flea and tick medication for our 16 pound mixed breed cat? Thank you!
Adopted 2 cats from county animal shelter last Dec. They'd been seized from hoarder by county. They recently started scratching as if they have fleas, but I can't find any fleas or flea dirt (white cats). Vet prescribed Revolution (selamectin), once monthly, to control fleas, ear mites, intestinal hookworm & roundworm, and heartworm disease (Dirofilaria immitis). I asked for ::::safest effective:::: med (for cats) for these issues, with least potential adverse side effects. Is that what I got???
What's best for fleas on cats?
Hello, I was able to trap a very skittish stray cat and get him neutered and shots. I feed him every day and give him once a month oral flea medication (CapShield Plus, which contains 11.3mg of Nitenpyram and 204.9mg of Lufenuron). I just noticed he has tapeworms and was wondering what type of oral tapeworm medication I can give him that won't interact with the CapShield Plus. Thank you very much for your help, Robert Covich
Hello! I suspect my cat has some type of worm and wanted to ensure the medicines I will provide are a safe combination. He is treated approximately every 6 weeks with Advantage Multi; in case this is tapeworms I would also like to treat with Drontal. Is it safe to do so at the same time, and what is the dosage recommendation per lb or kg for Drontal?
I took my 3 year old cat to the vet today where he was treated for ear inflammation, given vaccines, and treated with Profender as a preventative. He is now acting lethargic and slow and just not really himself. I started googling and saw all kinds of horror stories about profender killing people’s cats both days and weeks after application. Is this a safe treatment and should I be worried for my cat especially with the symptoms I’m already seeing? Please help I’m so scared
Gave my 15 lb cat Elanco dewormer for tapeworms...1 and half tablets. Have seen two small worms by anus. He vomited within a half hour a 5-6" tapeworm. Should I give him additional tablets since he barely absorbed them? The tapeworm must have migrated to his stomach? He eats mice and rodents
