We have human albuterol is it safe to give to a dog
My dog chewed on my ProAir inhaler at some point today. He is fine right now but could something bad still happen?
My cat butters takes Flovent 44mcg inhaler three times daily as prescribed by his vet and also has albuterol inh (prn) I recently had to board him for 5 days (at his same vet). When I picked him up and looked at his Flovent which I purchased the day of his boarding the metered counter on back was in same position. They are looking into what happened My concern was they gave him albuterol three times a day instead of Flovent. Could this have been harmful to him?
Sweetie had asthma attacks some time ago which I mistook for hairballs but I investigated and realized her symptoms matched sthma, I quickly changed her environment and food for possible allergens to see if that would help and it did. But she did have one this month due to someone petting her when they had too much cologne on, I have vet appt soon fo a rescue pump for sound of mind but I do not want her on any steriods due to their effects. If so what steriod inhailer has the least side effects?
My dog who is 10 yr old was diagnosed with allergy/asthma and was prescribed with ascoril ls, allercet m and azithral. However, azithral caused her to vomit, so was stopped. She is now panting while awake and when asleep respiratory rate is about 90. Plz help
My 17 yr old cat is in renal Disease which worsened in the last 2 wks. I am dispensing 1ml of aluminum hydroxide every 12 hours. How do I know if he inhaled it instead of swallowing it? His breathing sounds like there is fluid in there.
Vet prescribed Prednisone 5gm tablet for cats. Do I pill him or can I grind it into food? Also for my other cat vet prescribed Albuertol Sulfate syrup 2mg for "as needed" can you tell me what is that used for and is it just used for coughing spells.
My 14y/o fur baby has confirmed CHF. She's on lasix and prednisolone; however, lately is having a harder time breathing than usual and wheezes and coughs alot. My vet has already said current weather conditions make her worse etc. So my question is just until I can get her seen again, would Mucinex DM or an extra dose of steroid help her breath easier?
Coughing wheezing and sneezing,
I have a dog and he bit into an albuterol inhaler and heโs shaking, throwing up, drinking lots of water, laying around, he has an elevated heart rate. I donโt have money to take him to a vet
