RECOMMENDED DAILY FEEDING AMOUNTS: Using a standard 8 oz/250 ml measuring cup which contains approximately 99 g of Pro Plan. We recommend that you keep your dog in ideal body condition and not allow your dog to become overweight. The exact amount of food your dog requires will need to be adjusted according to age, activity and environment. But a good place to start is with these guidelines for an average, active, adult dog fed once daily.; MAKING THE SWITCH TO PRO PLAN: Although you'll be anxious to see the difference Pro Plan can make in your dog, please allow 7 - 10 days to ease the transition from your dog's current food. Each day, simply feed a little less of the previous food and a little more Pro Plan until you're feeding Pro Plan exclusively. This gradual transition will help avoid dietary upsets. Contains a source of live (viable) naturally occurring microorganisms. Provide adequate fresh water in a clean container daily. For your pet's health, see your veterinarian regularly.

We rescued a puppy from a local spca shelter. A mixed breed golden retriever and believe some type sheppard. We located him thru petfinder. With the rescue we received a couple of bags of Purina Pro Plan puppy food. I have had several people comment it's not a quality food and should try blue buffalo. We have fed eukanuba with a prior pet. My basic question is the pro plan puppy formula ( we got a bag of chicken and a bag of lamb ) a quality product? Thx

I have a German Shepherd and she is one month old. I am really unsure what dry food to get her. What is better: Purina Pro focus, Blue Wilderness, American journey, or taste of the wild? Should I get grain-free and large breed? If any other ones are suggested let me know.
I have a 4 year old Rottweiler who has sensitive skin and stomach. I'm looking for a grain free, high protein food. I've looked into the Purina Pro Plan and the Hills Science Diet and they both contain grain and the protein content is low. Does anyone have any suggestions for possible foods?
