Using a standard 8 oz/250 ml measuring cup which contains approximately 96 g of Pro Plan. We recommend that you keep your dog in ideal body condition and not allow your dog to become overweight. The exact amount of food your dog requires will need to be adjusted according to age, activity and environment. But a good place to start is with these guidelines for an average, active, adult dog fed once daily. MAKING THE SWITCH TO PRO PLAN Although you'll be anxious to see the difference Pro Plan can make in your dog, please allow 7 - 10 days to ease the transition from your dog's current food. Each day, simply feed a little less of the previous food and a little more Pro Plan until you're feeding Pro Plan exclusively. This gradual transition will help avoid dietary upsets. Contains a source of live (viable) naturally occurring microorganisms. Provide adequate fresh water in a clean container daily. For your pet's health, see your veterinarian regularly.

I just received a new bag, and it is the one that doesn’t say “Savor.” Am I ok to give this to my dog without gradually introducing it? He has about one scoop of the Savor kind left. Are these the exact same thing? My dog has a sensitive tummy. Thank you!

While our Pro Plan Savor formulas (Complete Essentials) already contained guaranteed live probiotics, we’ve now added them to the remaining formulas. In addition to adding guaranteed live probiotics, some formulas, including the one you are currently feeding, have had an ingredient realignment or a minor shift of ingredients. We would recommend you continue to feed the product as it may take 7-10 days for your dog to adjust to the ingredient alignment. It's not uncommon for a dog’s system to take time to grow accustomed to a new formulation. - don't know where the product come from but ingredients look the same as mag flake to me, Have had no issues whatsoever with it

Can I mix Magnesium Chloride and Magnesium sulfate in the same container?
- Thank you for your question. Per the manufacturer: Yes, they can be mixed in the same container. It is likely some precipitate will form – it is calcium sulfate and is fine to dose the precipitate into the system. The Magnesium chloride will contain some calcium and the Magnesium sulfate has the sulfate, so you get a small amount of calcium sulfate.
